Penthouse cyber reality vibe review by Penthouse

 When I opened the Penthouse Cyber Reality Vibe, I was truly impressed by how much it felt like the real thing! I have other Cyberskin toys, but this is my first experience of it in a realistic vibrator, and I must say I was impressed. The “skin” is soft and yielding, but the hard core of the vibrator inside makes it feel very realistic when held.

 The vibrator bills itself as 7”, but actually only has about 5 insertable inches. It has a fairly healthy circumference, though, so I lubed it up well and hoped for the best! The Cyberskin was very soft and felt very smooth and realistic going in, even though I had to work myself up with the vibrator for a few minutes to take its large diameter. The vibrator takes two AA batteries and is surprisingly strong—it feels even stronger when you use it than it does it in your hand. The control is a simple spin wheel on the base and very easy to use. The vibrator is also surprisingly quiet, becoming noticeable only at its highest speeds.

 Once I worked the vibe in and began thrusting with a realistic motion (my preferred use for realistic vibes), I was surprised how lifelike it felt. The Cyberskin over the hard vibrator core provides a very realistic-feeling product! If I have any complaint about the Penthouse Cyber Reality Vibe it’s that I wish it were just a tad longer, to be in better proportion with the girth of the toy. Still, with the shorter length I was free to thrust away, and I must admit I got a huge kick out of the attached “balls” slapping me in the butt, just like the real thing! Very realistic!

 Since it doesn’t have a built-in clit stimulator, I finished up with the toy externally, and was not disappointed in the power of the motor. The vibrator definitely packed enough punch for effective clitoral stimulation, even through the soft Cyberskin padding. The Cyberskin material felt soft and luxurious the whole time and held up well to repeated uses.

 When purchasing this toy, I would recommend having some Cyberskin Renew (NOT ENDORSED BY EDENFANTASYS, please see note below) or cornstarch powder ready in order to care properly for your Cyberskin toy. Cyberskin is an awesome material, but it does take some special care in cleaning and storing if you want it to last. Just be sure to let it dry thoroughly, cover it with a generous helping of cornstarch, and store it out of contact with other toys and you’ll have a wonderful toy to enjoy for a long time!

EDITOR’S NOTE: You should NOT use talc or any product with talc on any type of sex toy.  Often manufacturers will give you a powder with talc in it; DO NOT USE THIS unless the bottle says "talc-free." 

Talc (magnesium trisilicate) can sometimes contain asbestos and therefore is considered a carcinogen (cancer causing material). Get more information here: American Cancer Society-Talcum Powder and Cancer. Instead of talc products, you can use cornstarch to maintain the skin-like texture of your Cyberskin or other skin-like products between uses.  Wash off the powder with warm water anti-bacterial soap before using the toy. When you are done using the product, wash with warm water and anti-bacterial soap, dry it with a paper towel, rub cornstarch over the surface of the toy, and then store separate from your other toys (in a plastic zip bag)

When I purchased my Penthouse Cyber Reality Vibe, it actually came with a corn-starch renewing powder, but please check the ingredient list carefully on any powders you may use to preserve this! No talc! I'm pleased to report the vibe is still holding up very well, despite the soft Cyberskin material. One thing I will mention is to be careful storing this one if you store your vibes in cloth bags--mine picked up some indentation texture from a terry-cloth bag (which, thankfully, eventually disappeared when I moved it to a non-textured bag). Cyberskin is frequently a love-it or hate-it material, and it does have issues because it is very fragile and porous. However, with proper and diligent care and storage, it IS possible for Cyberskin toys to last a long time!
