The best and worst thing about this dildo is that it is highly textured. The textures can be felt internally and are very stimulating to the vaginal walls. Some may not enjoy so much texture. I can not stress enough the need for time and patience with this dildo. A slow sensual movement is best. Unlike most dildos that require a fast thrusting motion to be enjoyed, the textures take care of the sensations to the vagina so that fast thrusting is not needed or required. As long as this slow sensual movement is maintained, I see no problems with anyone enjoying this toy. However, if you are very sensitive to texture, or have a history of not liking texture, I do not recommend that you will like this toy.
I, personally, love that it takes a bit of time to use this toy as it gives me more ME time. I enjoy taking this tentacle shaped toy into the bath and using it there. The warm water seems to open me up and relax my vaginal walls so that I enjoy the textures more than I do on a bed. This is the only glass toy that I use warm instead of chilled. This toy may also be turned upside down and used. The texture is not as pronounced this way and the tip/head slants downward, but it is worth trying out just to see if you enjoy the texture better this way. I prefer it right side up.
As this glass is hard and nubbed, it is an excellent tool for deep massage if you wish.

Pyrex glass is one of the easiest sex toy materials to care for. It is very hygienic as you can disinfect it by boiling for 3 minutes or wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution or isopropyl alcohol. It can just as easily be washed with hot water and anti-bacterial soap, making sure to get around the nubs and ribs where nasties can hide. It can even be put into the dishwasher if you wish. You really can not go wrong in cleaning this type of glass. It can be stored in a padded bag, put on display in a nice cabinet, or it can be kept in its original box, as it looks very nice and is safely snuggled in its foam cut out there. It can be stored with any manner of other toys, and can be used with virtually any type of lube. No worries with Pyrex.
As a side note, it would have been awesome if this glass toy had come with a padded bag. I believe every glass toy should come with a padded bag. It would show to me, the buyer, that the company cared enough about the safety and future of the toy as well as the presentation of the toy. Boxes and plastics are not needed at all. A padded bag would mean a useful quality packaging, without the need for throw away gimmicky boxes and such. The buyer would certainly appreciate and love the toy even more if simply packaged in a pretty colored padded bag. Don't you agree?

When you open the box, your toy is snugly housed in a foam cut out; making this a perfect place to store it if you wish. If not, the box is recyclable. I think my garbage men would be paying me a little too much attention if I were to put this item in my recycle bin, so I won't be doing that. Just something to think about. On another note, I think this would make a lovely and highly appreciated gift. Last but not least, I have to say it, this product was made in China.

I have read in other reviews that feature a glass toy, speak about temperature play in a disturbing way. I think it needs to be addressed just in case someone actually reads them and attempts to do such. They speak of placing the glass into a freezer, which could possibly cause freezer burn. I have also heard tell about putting the glass toy into a microwave, which could burn the sensitive tissues and membranes of the genitals. These options of temperature play are just wrong! Placing the glass into a bowl of cold water with a few ice cubes is sufficient to chill the toy. Placing the glass into a bowl of warm or hot water is sufficient to warm it. Always err on the side of caution. Pyrex glass holds temperatures well for a good while. Burning of the genitals either by freezer or microwave is harmful, and is so unsexy as well as unnecessary.
