Translucence veined double dong - double ended dildo discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by EnChAnTiNg

The Translucence Double Veined dildo looks like a nice toy, and when you first receive it, it is s nice toy. The problem is that the jelly that it is made out of did not last very long. The very first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the awful smell. It seemed as if the jelly had been treated or coated with something that left a very unpleasant smell. I washed the didldo multiple times before actually feeling comfortable enough to use it. I have owned numerous jelly didlos, and I am aware that they do not last as long as a silicone or glass dildo, but this one deteriorated so quickly that I was a bit suprised. I think becasue it is so flexible, it causes the jelly to begin to crack; therefore, it allowed dirt and bacteria to enter directly into the toy. This causes the toy to take on a very nasty color- almost a brownish grayish tint.

The toy itself is a nice size. I ordered the 12 inch, but I think the 18 inch would have suited me better. The 18 inch works better for double pentration, since it gives you more length to change the penetration depths. Also, if you are going to use it with a partner, I would suggest the 18 inch. While I purchased this to use for myself only, I do not think the 12 inch dildo would be long enough for partner use.

The dildo is just over 1 1/2 inches in diameter, making it a very comfortable size. For those buying this for anal use, and are not used to anal penetration, it may be a bit on the large side.

This is obviously a toy that needs to be washed VERY often. I recommend washing before and after each use. As time goes on, you will see the toy really starts to get the color I was talking about before. I suggest putting it in hot water and antibacterial soap and just letting it sit for some time to try to soak into the porous jelly.

Overall, I am not impressed with the toy, and I would not purchase it again. The only positive is that it is very reasonable priced, so if you buy this toy and really like it, at least it will not cost too much to replace it when the toy deteriorates.

I no longer have this dildo. The jelly deteriorated so quickly that I just decided to throw it away. It is not worth the money, that is for sure. If you are looking for a double ended toy, I would recommend a glass one. I would purchase anything but jelly. Yes, it does feel nice, but it deteriorates very quickly and is a haven for bodily fluids.
