After having the opportunity to 'test drive' a close friend's glass dildo, I just knew I had to have one of my own. After browsing around a bit, I decided to get Don Wands Curved Purple Swirl because I loved to look of the raised swirls and it looked like it'd be pretty easy to hold. I definitely thing I made a good choice.

The first thing I noticed when I took the toy out of the package was the weight. It's just heavy enough to feel really sturdy in your hands, and the glass is totally smooth. Even the raised ridges are smooth, with no edges to catch or scrape your skin.

The second thing I noticed was that the travel pouch is huge. I joked to my partner that I should carry my new toy in my carry-on next time we flew because the pouch could double as a small travel pillow. It's a plush pink, with a black drawstring cord, and it's firmly padded. You could probably drop a house on it and the toy would remain shiny and unchipped. Considering I have three kids, and sometimes have to stash toys in rather creative places, the pouch is a definite plus.

Admittedly, the toy was a little smaller than I'd expected it to be. Because it's so smooth, you almost don't notice the flair of the head if you use that end of the toy for insertion. That's all good though, because it definitely gets the job done. The Purple Swirl starts out cool to the touch. That first thrust inside with the smooth, cool glass is an awesome sensation. Either end can be used to stimulate your g-spot, although the rounded end is a bit stronger.

Personally, I've used this toy in the shower and in bed. Add a hand-held shower-head for some clitoral stimulation and you're on your way to super-strong orgasms.
