Violet wonder - dildo sex toy by SSA Glass - review by Waterfall

The Violet Wonder is a purple, double ended glass dildo that has different textures on each "head" of the toy and a slight curve that can reach the g-spot (depending on the shape of your body). This toy works well for thrusting, as long as you take care not to bruise your cervix. If you are experienced, or even adventurous, with anal, then this toy could be used when with a partner to ensure that the toy is held firmly. The Violet Wonder also has bulges in the shaft that work well for exercising your kegels.

The violet wonder is made of Pyrex glass, so when I took it out of the package there was no smell and the material is very firm with no give at all (like all glass toys). The glass on one end of the toy is swirled to form one of the heads that can be inserted. I could feel the swirled material upon penetration and this shape almost begs to be twisted around inside of you when you insert it (which I did). I thought this would not be easy to insert, but I had no problems. The other end of the toy is a ball with no texture and slides in easily as well during penetration. The shaft of the toy, between the toys, is made up of different sized bulges.
Glass is wonderful for temperature play and can be heated up with warm (not too hot) water or cooled down with ice water (make sure not to put glass in the freezer).

The Violet Wonder measures about 7 3/4 inches in length with 6 1/2 inches that are insertable. It has a diameter of 1 3/8 inches and a 4 1/2 inch circumference. Although I would not say that this toy is "huge" by any means, the weight, the material, and the bulges in the shaft make it feel larger. It has a nice weight of 12 oz, which feels really nice inside of you.
In my opinion, this toy does not have a realistic shape, it looks more like a faceless purple caterpillar or weird worm of some sort. However, people may be able to figure out that this is not an innocent piece of glass hanging out in your home!

The twisted head of the toy may look like it will be difficult to insert, but I had no problems at all. The slippery and smooth nature of glass helps this. This end can also be angled to massage the g-spot in an exciting way due to its unique texture. The opposite end, which is a ball shape, is wonderful for thrusting!The shaft has 3 other bulges that feel good during thrusting as each on slides in and out.

My favorite thing to use the Violet Wonder for is thrusting! The texture and the different shapes that go into this toy provide various sensations as the toy goes in and out. I did enjoy rapid thrusting with this, but I have to make sure that I do not go too far so as not to injure myself internally. Another use for the Violet Wonder is as a kegel exerciser because the bulges are nice to grab with your muscles. When I have the right angle, I can also stimulate my g-spot really well with the twisted end, but this may depend on your individual body shape.

Pyrex glass is very easy to take care of and with simple care, glass toys can last a lifetime! To clean and sanitize your toy you can wash with warm water and anti-bacterial soap, put in the top rack of your dishwasher, use toy cleaner, or wipe down with a 10% bleach solution.
Any lube of your choice can be used because the glass will not react badly with certain ingredients, however since glass is very smooth, insertion is easier so you may not need as much lube as you use for a silicone toy for example.
I keep my Violet Wonder stored in the pouch that came with it. For travel I would suggest something that has a bit more padding or to make sure the toy is some where that it will not break.

The toy comes packaged in a black, drawstring pouch that is good for storing the toy in. It keeps it protected from most bangs, but it is not extremely padded. If someone saw you take it out of the box, they would never know what was inside the pouch (as long as they are not a fellow customer of this site!).

The first time I used my Violet Wonder, I was a little scared that penetration wasn't going to be easy because neither of the heads is tapered. I was happy that this was not a problem for me. I first used the twisted end and this provided wonderful stimulation for the entrance of my vagina. Once inserted I also had to see how it felt if I were to twist it around. This was nice because I could really feel the shape/texture of this end moving inside of me. I also tried to use this end to stimulate my g-spot; though it wasn't the same kind of stimulation that my other g-spot toys provide, it was interesting and new and I liked it!

I was then curious about inserting the other end of the toy and decided to give that a try as well. This side provided a smooth but wavy type of stimulation that felt amazing as each bulge of the toy slid in and out. This end works best for thrusting for me. Because it is not as curved as the other end, it didn't work as well for g-spot stimulation.
