Pyrex, not just for cooking anymore!

Honestly, I picked up this toy on a whim. The overall look of it caught my eye as something out of the ordinary. Once I had my hands on it, it felt well designed, almost as if each curve and bend was intentionally designed that way. Once I persuaded my girl to try it, and yes it did require some persuasion, and she got passed the whole "glass" part of it, she and I were very pleased.

Use

My girlfriend and I were instant fans of this toy, once we figured out the best ways to use it. First things first, this is a glass toy. Not delicate like a wine glass but more like a glass cooking pot for the stove,...very solid! Keeping this in mind, there is no "give" when using. So, when thrusting in and out of your partner, be mindful of how deep your partner is and when the toy is fully in. You don't want to get an ouch from under the covers!

Overall, this is a very user friendly toy. It has rolled off the bed and onto the floor without breaking. So yes, it is durable, but it's not a slinky so keep it away from the stairs! It's comfortable in the hands. The ribbons that wrap it make for a very grip friendly feel. The solidness of the toy does not translate to an uncomfortable or hard feel during insertion. Try not to get your head too wrapped up in the idea that it's made of glass!

Design / Shape / Size

The shape of the head makes for easy insertion for vaginal and anal use (although, I'm not suggesting this is a good first time anal toy). You get a nice "POP" when pulling the head out of a tight ass. Once you get past the head of this toy, you have some great ribbons wrapping all the way up the length of the toy. They provide great friction and sensation as they pass the lips and the clit. These same ribbons make for possibly too much friction for the anus.

Performance

Another great thing about a solid material is it will not "soak up" any lube. A little lube goes a long way with a toy like this. I have used it during oral and a slightly wet vagina + a little saliva (or a lot) + this toy = a slippery and fun time. Hot or cold play is also great with this toy. We have not tried heating it up, although it will retain the body heat of your hands and body after it has been used a bit. As for cooling things down, about 10 minutes in the fridge gets this toy nice and cold. Which is great for nipples and a nice shock to a vagina after it has been inserted with a tongue! All of the above can be applied to any Pyrex toy that you might pick up.

Care and Maintenance

Onto the fun facts. This solid material can be sterilized. Can you say dishwasher safe? Keep it in a separate area in the rack. You don't want stuff banging into it while the dishwasher does the work. For a more hands on cleaning, I also like dial antibacterial soap. On this particular toy, the ribbons provide a surface crevice that will get a little build up from your natural lube or lube that you apply. Take care to inspect the toy for areas that need a tad more cleaning. It's clear glass though, so everything will show up if it's not crystal clear clean. I also suggest keeping it in a velvet padded bag or something cushioned.

Glass is a great material for toys to be made of. I'm glad that many companies have jumped on the band wagon forcing the price of these toys down to an attainable level. I remember a few years ago they used to run $300 and up!

	BBW Talks Toys (verified) Just a little note. When you're sterilizing in the dishwasher, you do not want to use dish detergent. It may not completely rinse off your toy and that would be BAD! Personally, I like boiling for sterilization. Sure, it's a little more work, but you avoid the soap issue. I've had my eye on this one for a while, so thank you for the review! 	Stapleton99 (verified) Its amazing you can pick up anything in the this Pyrex for the 20 - 30 dollar range. I really do suggest this one for the first piece. As for the shape, the slight curve makes it adequate to hit the g spot with a little help from your hand and the angle it's being inserted at. Good point about the detergent in the dishwasher, would jet dry also be a bad thing? j/k! the spirals really do allow for good grip on the shaft, you'll be thankful if your using alot of lube or if your partner is very very wet. Some of these toys look great but the smooth shaft does not lend for alot of good grip option other than holding it at the base. Next up I want to pick up one of the icicles line, maybe that tentacle looking one or the double ended one that looks similar to this one. Some times a slight change in shape can make all the difference between "oh thats nice" and " honey i know you liked that, look at the bruise you gave me"	12/07/2010
