Icicles No. 32 - dildo discontinued by Pipedream - review by Kitten B.

I honestly didn't expect to get a lot of use out of this wand. I thought it was too pretty to be functional, but Icicles No. 32 is truly versatile! I am absolutely in love with this toy. It has quickly become a favorite in my toy chest. You can easily use this wand solo, or with your partner. The glass wand is perfectly designed for both vaginal and anal stimulation. The curved shaft makes it ideal for g-spot stimulation. The heart shaped handle and textured bulges makes it great for anal play.

Icicles No. 32 is made out of tempered glass, so it's body safe, easy to clean, and safe for temperature play! You can even boil it to sterilize between partners. As with any toy made out of glass, you do need to be careful when thrusting. You definitely don't want to bruise your cervix!

Icicles No. 32 is made out Borosilicate glass, which is another name for Pyrex. The box states that it is hand blown, nonporous, hypoallergenic, body safe glass. It is extremely user friendly because of this. It can be slowly heated for temperature play, or slowly boiled to sterilize. You do not want to rapidly heat or cool down this toy. Even though it is tempered glass, it can still break, and rapid temperature abuse may weaken the glass.

The one concern I have with the material is the red color. I'm not sure if it's a film that can be scratched off, or if the color is blown into the glass. So far, I haven't had any problems with scratching. I do not see any visible wear on the color what so ever, so it may not be an issue.

It does not have a weird taste or smell. Because it is nonporous glass, it will also not hold any tastes or smells after use.

This is the most aesthetically pleasing toy that I own. I absolutely fell in love with the red glass and heart shaped handle when I first saw it. I collect heart shaped toys, and Icicles No. 32 is by far my favorite. The heart handle, smooth surface, and cherry red color, remind me of a lollipop!

The overall shape and design of this wand is functional and pleasing. The heart shaped handle is great for thrusting in and out. It is perfectly sized, not too thick or thin, and would probably be okay for most people. The bulges graduate in size down the shaft, and feel amazing when used during anal play. The curved shape stimulates my g-spot perfectly.

I don't believe this toy is very discreet, but you could use it for travel. I would recommend getting a cushioned pouch for transportation. You could also use the box it came in, if needed.

I am a huge fan of the versatility this wand delivers. As I have mentioned, it's perfect for anal play. It's hard for me to come by anal toys that I truly enjoy. I often have the problem of purchasing anal toys that are either too wide or too small. This wand, however, graduates perfectly in size. I enjoy it from the slightly pointed tip to the very last bulge.

It also delivers when used vaginally. I didn't think I'd enjoy the bulges, but they feel wonderful when inserted! The shaft is perfectly curved to massage my g-spot. The smooth glass feels amazing when used for clitoral stimulation.

I have used it during temperature play, though only heated. I'm just not a big fan of cold. The wand felt so good after I let it sit in warm-hot water for 3 minutes! It also held heat for a good 10-15 minutes.

Because this wand is made out of Borosilicate glass, it is incredibly easy to care for and maintain! You can use any water, silicone, or oil based lube you prefer. You can share it, using condoms or sterilizing between partners. You can use your favorite toy cleaner, put it in your dishwasher,(I have not personally done this) or slowly boil it to sterilize.

I personally still store mine in the box it came in. I am on the lookout for a cushioned pouch for it, but have yet to purchase one. You could really store this toy any way you like, just make sure to remember that it is glass and can break! Wrap it in something soft, like a towel, to be safe.

Pipedream does a very good job with the packaging on their Icicles line. They come in an elegantly designed box, perfect for gift giving. The front of the box displays a beautiful photo of the toy on a magnetic door, that opens up to reveal the real toy inside. The wand is surrounded by thick foam, which is why I kept my box for storage. I wish it came with a storage pouch, but for now, the box works.

The box does contain brief temperature and care instructions on the back.
