James Deen signature silicone vibrating cock - realistic vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Falsepast

Packaging/Storage: The James Deen silicone vibrating cock comes in quite a large box, measuring in at 10 1/2 inches tall by 7 1/2 wide. The front has picture of James Deen naked behind the product name, and states it's from Doc Johnson, built in America, phthalate-free and made with platinum premium silicone. On the side, there is a flap which lifts the front of the box to reveal the dildo and bullet visible through a clear plastic box. The inside of the flap, to the left of the toy, has 2 pictures of the actor, and multiple facts about the toy such as its length, material safety, information on the removable bullet, the fact that it is a direct mold from James Deen, etc.
The right side of the box simply has the name of the toy while the left has a picture of the toy and mentions a website and the material again. The back of the box repeats all previously mentioned information in this summary: "Molded directly from award-winning male superstar James Deen. The first of its kind ever made...a realistic casting done in 100% platinum premium silicone. The lifelike James Deen silicone cock measures 9" and includes a powerful, removable 3-speed mega-bullet for intense vibrations that you can feel from balls to tip. Hypoallergenic, nonporous, and easy to clean. The signature James Deen line, exclusively from Doc Johnson proudly made in America." Beneath that it restates some key facts of the toy in 6 different languages and has a small care and maintenance section, which I will include later, and a symbol stating the toy is waterproof. There is also a small tip recommending application of the included powder to bullet and the hole in the toy for easy removal.
The box is easily opened from the top, and inside has a clam-shell plastic case containing the toy, bullet, free powder and free black storage bag. Storage pouch around 15 x 8 one sided drawstring perfect for storing the toy and its bullet if the box takes too much space. However, the storage pouch does have some loose strings inside and can easily become unraveled if these are pulled on, so be careful.

Look: The dildo itself is 5 inches wide at head, a bit under 6 1/2 inches in the middle of the shaft and just below 6 inches above the balls. Although it is advertised as 9 inches, the toy is actually 8 1/2 inches tall, 6 1/4 of which are insertable. It is a single solid color, but the veins along the shaft, wrinkles on the balls, and small details on the head help this toy still look super realistic. The bottom of the toy has a hole for the bullet, which is small but deep. When inserted, the bottom part of the bullet will stick out a bit. The bullet itself is a smooth, silver 5 by 2 1/4 inch bullet with a single black button and a band around the battery compartment to prevent water from coming in.

*UPDATED* Smell/Taste/Noise: There was no smell or taste to the toy thanks to the material. The sound from the bullet is actually ridiculously loud, but it is definitely worth it once you feel the vibrations. Outside of the dildo, I would give it 5 bees and inside it's still a 4. It is one of the loudest toys I still have and it is somewhat disappointing that I will have to wait until no one is around to use it again.

Material/Cleaning/Lube: The James Deen vibrating silicone cock is made of silicone which is a 10/10 on the safety scale. As mentioned on the box, the silicone is phthalate-free, body safe, waterproof, hypoallergenic, and nonporous. Also mentioned on the box are the multiple cleaning methods. Although it is waterproof, the bullet must first be removed, then the toy can be cleaned with an antibacterial toy cleaner, washed with soap and water, sprayed with 10% bleach solution, washed in the top rack of a dishwasher or be boiled for 3 minutes. Although this material has numerous pros, one major con is that only water-based lube can be used with it.

The toy feels smooth and soft, very firm and stands proudly on its own without any flop. When the bullet is not inside, it bends easily because of the hole. All the veins and wrinkles can easily be felt by hand. The bullethole is very long, longer than my fingers, making it somewhat difficult to powder it thoroughly. When the bullet is pushed in, some trapped air may give a bit of a problem, but not much. When pulling the bullet out, it may be a tad difficult due to the fact that the hole now holds on to the bullet tightly.

Without the bullet: Having used Vac-U-Loc dildos before, one very pleasant surprise I found with this toy is that it works perfectly with or without the bullet! There is nearly no difference that I could feel between this dildo and a regular one with no hole in it. Another thing I really liked was the fact that the head is smaller than the shaft. It makes the insertion of the toy gentle and easy to take. The veins along the shaft can be felt and feel really good during use. The toy has a very nice insertable length, it is not overwhelming but not too short either, it may just be the perfect length (for me at least). For this toy, I would've preferred this toy be a bit thinner so I could use it more often and with less warm up time but, with personal wishes aside, the girth is great. I especially love the fact that it starts small at the head, grows as it nears the middle of the shaft, then thins out just a bit before the balls. The only thing I found to be really disappointing was the lack of a curve for better P-spot stimluation.


*UPDATE* With the bullet: The toy feels amazing with the bullet on. Although I previously thought the bullet was weak, thanks to PropertyofPotter I recently found out it is actually super powerful, super loud bullet. I discovered that although I thought the batteries were new, the ones I had previously used were not new at all. It feels much better now and I'm glad I decided to try new batteries, and apologize for not realizing the batteries weren't fresh, my apologies. The bullet offers 3 speeds, and now it is pretty easy to tell the speeds apart from each other. The differences are much more noticeable now, however the fact still remains that due to the bullet can get jammed, requiring you to unscrew cap to turn it off. Personally, I feel that the vibrations are still best felt in the tip and balls. I personally love this because it is the vibrating tip can be left to focus on the P-spot, slightly making up for the fact that there's no curve to hit that spot better.

James Deen is still a great dildo/vibrator. I love that it is silicone and a powerful vibrator but I'm starting to dislike the very hard feel of the toy. Although I still love it overall, I wish this would be a bit smaller.
