When I was told I was next up to review the Raquel dildo by Vixen Creations, I almost died of a laughing fit, not because the toy was amusing or because Ms. Welsh ever sent me giggling, but because the toy and I shared a very deep connection; my middle name.

As we all know, I'm not the biggest fan of pink...but since it had such a cool name, I figure I'd go at it with an open mind, and thank heavens I did. First of all, it had cool packaging; none of these cheap cardboard and/or plastic boxes. No, the Raquel came in a good quality plastic tube, with a removable/reusable top, perfect for keeping this sex toy in between hot and heavy sessions. Once I took it out of the package, it only got better. It felt AMAZING. Even just to hold; soft, supple, and just plain unbelievable. It was a cross between the soft-squishiness of jelly and the reassuring firm (and amazing cleanliness!) of your every day silicone. It was fantastic! I found myself doing something I rarely do with sex toys (and even then, only after a long love affair with the toy); I stuck it in my mouth. I wanted to taste it, and to feel it all over. Mmm. It did NOT disappoint.

I LOVED the larger base. While intended for (and outstanding) use in a harness, it also makes a really good handle, for everything. The Raquel felt great on the outside of my vulva, just rubbing it up and down, and once it was inside me, I felt like it had been designed specifically for me; it was a perfect it. The slightly bulbous head fit perfectly in the anterior of my vagina, with my vaginal walls hugging it tightly. The smooth shaft, which I had originally doubted, felt wondrous in my pussy. I almost came JUST from doing a few kegels. I'd never had that before!

This toy is great on your own (either by itself for a deep g-spot or vaginal orgasm, or in conjunction with a vibrator to have something to squeeze when you come) or with a partner (either for use manually, or with a strap on). It's simply outstanding, the best non-wand sex toy I've ever had, and let me tell you, I've had a lot of toys in my day. Highly recommended, 6 stars out of 5! And oh yes, it could be 10 shades of pink, with dancing animals and faces (it's not), and it would STILL be worth it.
