Realistic vibrator discontinued

Real Pleasure was a Real Let Down

I would say that this toy would be an excellent buy for beginners, but advanced users may want to pass this one by. The vibrations aren't very powerful and, while there's nothing wrong with the texture itself, I didn't really like it very much. The design looks a bit funny to me and, while it feels realistic, it doesn't really look that way. Overall, it's a pass for me.

Use

This toy his been discontinued and honestly, it's been so long since I've used the thing that I can hardly remember anything about it. Real Pleasure can be used vaginally and, if you like very mild vibrations, it can be used for clitoris stimlation. If Eden still carried this toy, I would suggest that beginners try it out. Advanced users may want to pass, but who knows. What doesn't work for me might work for the next person! I would only use this toy as a last resort, but I have plenty of other options, so this one stays in the toy box. It wasn't completely unpleasurable, but there are better toys out there with better vibrations.

I wouldn't suggest using this toy anally, as the toy has no base. It could be used there, however, with the right kind of care.

Material / Texture

The material is TPR/Plastic, but it doesn't really feel much like any kind of plastic, honestly. The texture is really smooth and it doesn't have much of a smell after the first use. The texture can cause a bit of friction, but it isn't so bad. The "veins" didn't do much for the toy, either. I didn't feel them. I don't usually put my mouth near my toys, but I did try it, and the taste is... well, it's frankly pretty gross. Beginners would get more fun out of this toy than an advanced user. If you plan on sharing it with someone, you should use a condom as TPR is porous.

Design / Shape / Size

Real Pleasure actually looks a bit funny to me, to be honest. I don't really like the way that it looks, but if you can ignore that (which, I can) it isn't an overall BAD toy. The shape was pretty nice and not very big (7 3/8 inches long including handle (which is 1 inch long), 1 1/2 inches wide).

It's fairly easy to hide since it's not as big as some toys. I keep it in a ziploc bag and throw it in my toybox, but it could be hidden in a makeup case, I suppose. If you're planning to travel with it, I suggest putting it in a plastic bag with a sock over it and stuffing it in an overnight bag of some sort.

The vibrations aren't powerful enough for me, but it is very quiet, which is nice. If only the Hitachi were so quiet.

Functions / Performance / Controls

To lessen and highten the vibrations, there's a turn base. Pretty simple. The vibrations themselves don't travel all the way up to the head, which is disappointing, and seem to be more concentrated in the base. I didn't like that at all, since I'm a fan of clitoral stimulation.

It's a very simple toy and the controls are easy to use and figure out. Turn the knob to the left or the right and just pick your vibrating pleasure.

Care and Maintenance

Real Pleasure is waterproof, so soap and water do the trick. Or, if you're in a hurry, just use a toy cleaner. For storage, I keep it in a ziploc bag and don't allow other toys to touch it. Reason being, the toy is porous and could possibly absorb colors from other toys of similar material. Water based lube is the best lube for this toy.

Follow-up commentary
I've had this toy for maybe a year now and I've only used it a handful of times. I didn't really like it to begin with, but thought I might warm up to it. Unfortunately I didn't like it any more than I did the first time, but no one can say I didn't try. I ended up giving it away to a friend of mine who actually quite enjoys it!
