Realdoe feeldoe - sex toy by Tantus - review by GenderSexplorations

The Realdoe is a double-ended dildo designed to be used as a strapless strapon. It is a very good option for those interested in strap-on sex (for example: transgendered persons or those who are interested in genderplay) who want some personal stimulation from their play. Even more so because (unlike other Feeldoe products) the Realdoe has a realistic color!

The shaft of this toy is large enough to be fulfilling for vaginal penetration but also small enough to be comfortable for anal penetration for those with some anal experience. Being a high quality silicone, this toy has some give and is unlikely to cause any bruising, no matter how rough things get.

While the Realdoe itself is waterproof, I am not sure if the included bullet is.

The Realdoe is made of Tantus' 100% high quality medical-grade silicone. It feels fairly realistic for a silicone toy, though it does not feel as realistic as some toys. The Realdoe is firm but not overly so, having plenty of flex to it to allow for comfortable penetration while still allowing a good degree of control.

Being silicone, the Realdoe has no smell or taste to speak of. This makes for a very pleasant oral experience. In terms of texture, it feels like typical silicone and provides a smooth glide when used with a water-based lubricant.

I think the Realdoe is a wonderfully sized toy. It's not too big and not too small, allowing it to be used for anal or vaginal penetration. For anal penetration, I recommended this toy for only intermediate to advanced persons. It's definitely too large for a beginner to anal play. The shaft is approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter and six inches long.

In terms of the giver's portion of the toy, there is the retention bulb (two inches long) and then about an inch or so of retention area where the bulb gets smaller in diameter to help hold the toy in. Then there are a series of three large ridges for added stimulation. It also has a bullet hole and comes with a small yet powerful bullet vibrator.

The Realdoe has a head and a veined-look to the shaft, creating a fairly realistic-looking toy. In terms of color, this toy best matches a lightly tanned skintone. But I don't find that the slight color discrepancy between this toy and my skintone has a negative impact on looks in any way.

It is very obvious what this toy is and it is also a fairly large item due to the double-ended shape. Therefore, I do not recommend this toy for travel.

Being a strapless strapon, the Realdoe performs well without a harness. However this is a fairly heavy toy and may be difficult to retain for some people. Therefore it is also compatible with a harness such as the Spareparts Joque Harness (available in two sizes). This is my preferred method of using the Realdoe as it is easier and allows me to focus on my partner instead of on trying to retain this toy.

Probably one of the most interesting things about this toy is the bullet hole and included bullet vibrator. This little bullet gives lots of vibration along the ridges and very noticeable vibrations to the retention bulb. Some vibrations reach down along the penetrative portion of the shaft. This is a nice bonus for the receiving partner. Though few vibrations make it past the halfway point on the shaft. The only downside to this powerful little bullet is that it is a bit loud!

Being silicone, the Realdoe is very easy to care for. It is easy to clean with antibacterial soap and water. It can also be completely sterilized by boiling for three minutes or by wiping down with a 10% bleach-water solution. It is also dishwasher-safe.

In terms of storage, the Realdoe can be stored in the original packaging or in a large storage bag. It does have a tendency to collect lint and hair, like all silicone. So try to keep this toy away from linty things.

The Realdoe is compatible with water-based lubes. It may be okay with some premium silicone lubes, but I recommended spot-testing these as anything less than a premium silicone lube may react poorly with the toy.

The Realdoe is packaged in a clear, easily-opened, rectangular package. Behind the product is a cardboard insert. The front of the cardboard insert in the packaging contains some information about the product, such as that it is made out of medical-grade silicone. The back of the insert contains a description of the product. The back of the insert also contains tips for use and care instructions.

This package works well for a storage container for irregular use but may be a bit of a pain for regular use. In terms of gift-giving, keep in mind that the toy is very visible in the package and is prominently displayed.

I've noticed in using this toy that the best stimulation for the wearer is when the position is one where the wearer is on their back. This position puts all of the pressure on the retention bulb for a very nice and intense sensation. Especially when combined with the vibrations from the included bullet. A position like this also causes the most movement of the Realdoe, allowing the three ridges along the length to provide friction and stimulation for the wearer. And who can complain about that?
