Use

The Rocket is another creation by Tantus, who are known for their awesome silicone dildos. The Rocket takes the colorful dildo up a notch with its bright tri-color design. Some say it looks like an ice pop, some think it's reminiscent of the Hippy Movement. Either way, the Rocket is made to ensure safe and fun play. It has a flared base which is compatible for most O-ring harnesses. The base also allows for safe anal play. This can let men access their P-spot internally. The toy isn't exactly curved, but has a head that can help with G-spot stimulation as well.

As a beginner's toy, the Rocket may be a bit too big in dimensions, but it does do it's best to look funky and non-intimidating. Because it is a dildo, it can be used quietly (no electronic parts). It can be used in the shower. The base even allows for some suction on slick surfaces like the bottom of a tub and tiles. Silicone s a great material and perhaps should be tried first before glass, steel, or more firm materials. If not careful, more firm materials and cause bruising if used too hard. The Rocket can also be used for group situations since it can be sterilized.

Material / Texture

The Rocket is made of Tantus silicone. Silicone is one of the best materials you can use if you're looking for a pliable, body safe toy. Silicone does have some drag, so it's best to add some water based lubricant to make insertion easier. You can never have enough lubricant, and there's no such thing as too much lubricant when involved with anal play (well, technically you could have too much if you wanted to make a lube swimming pool, but you know what I mean).

Other than the drag, the toy is smooth. The color changes are done nicely so that there is not change in texture. The silicone can be squeezed, which is nice. It is flexible but not floppy. It holds its weight. If you need super firm G-spot stimulation, then you might want to stick with glass or metal. The firmness of this toy should work for the average user and beyond. The Rocket is not very realistic (and if you can find me a person with healthy, real popsicle penis, well, my partner would have to understand me trying it out). It is phallic and has something like a circumcised head, but it's more artsy than anything. There was no overt odor to the Rocket.

Design / Shape / Size

The Rocket might be a little on the big side for beginners, especially when discussing width/circumference. The toy has a max circumference of 5 inches. In comparison, the average width for battery operated female-oriented toys is about 4.25 to 4.5 inches. This will allow some users to experience a pleasantly full feeling. Also, the larger circumference means you are more likely to need lubricant to get started. The circumference is not too large. If you really love the look of this dildo and want to give it a try then you can warm up by using fingers and smaller toys.

Length is not as big a factor when determining if a toy is okay for beginners. If a toy is on the longer side, you can put your hand above the base. That way, you create your own preferred length for insertion. The rocket has a length of 6.5 inches with an insertable length of 5.5 inches. This length should be enough for the majority of G-spots in women and P-spots in men.

The Rocket is not discreet. While a pretty dildo it is obviously a dildo. It's best to keep it out of sight. It is also best to keep it wrapped to lower the amount of lint it collects. When traveling, wrap the Rocket in a lint free cloth. This will prevent the silicone form getting damaged during travel.

Performance

The Rocket can be used in a variety of ways and they can work for the majority of users. It can fit in most O-ring harnesses. A secure fit is important for maximum enjoyment. A secure fit is guaranteed by a fitting O-ring and adjustable straps on the harness to tighten the dildo towards the body (so harness success if really more dependent on the harness since the Rocket is not oddly shaped or anything). The Rocket is a great alternative for users who want a somewhat realistic shape but do not like very realistic toys overall.

If you're looking for a suction cup dildo, this isn't really your best bet. The base of the Rocket does allow for some suction, but your surfaces can be limited. It's best to get either a suction cup attachment or a better dildo if you want to use a dildo in this way.

The Rocket can be shared in group play situations. You can throw a condom over it for quick changes between partners or sterilize it with boiling. It is a durable, well-made toy that will last through many, many uses. It can tease the G-spot or provide light to moderate pressure on the G-spot and P-spot. It can be inserted vaginally and left there while using other toys like a clitoral vibrator. Squeezing the pelvic muscles around the Rocket while using a clitoral vibrator can create a more intense experience for some users.

Overall, there's nothing inherently wrong with the Rocket when looking at performance.

Care and Maintenance

Care for the Rocket is easy. You can use soap and water, wet wipes, or toy cleaner. You can let it soak in the sink. If you want to sterilize it you can boil it for 3 minutes. Dry it with a lint free cloth. The common trait about many silicone is the lint collecting, and this dildo is no exception. If it becomes bothersome, you can rinse the toy down before use.

Once clean and dry, store the Rocket away from direct contact with both porous toys and other silicone toys. Other porous toys can contaminate the Rocket (materials like jelly, rubber and TPR blends). Silicone toys can react with each other when touching. Reactions can include the appearance of melting or a color transfer.

Only use water based lubricants with the Rocket.

Packaging

Tantus packaging is nothing to write home about, but it's not horrid either. It comes in a clear plastic box. Because it is transparent, the packaging is not discreet, but it's not raunchy with naked people either. The packaging is more on the minimal side. When you remove the toy, you can break down the plastic for recycling with no issue. The packaging is not really intended for long term storage. It's not very strong.

Experience

I'm not really a dildo person. Well, the Rocket is starting to convert me a bit. I tend to favor external stimulation more than internal stimulation (and toys). Perhaps it's because I'm lazy because it takes less energy to enjoy a clitoral vibrator than a dildo (for me, anyway). I own two other silicone dildos: the Goddess and the Sedeux Flare (I also have a few glass toys, but they are used even less and almost exclusively for cold temperature play. Out of the two I preferred the flare since the textures on the Goddess were too much for me. Still, those two dildos never really made me have to use them.

I enjoy the Rocket, though. I tend to use it when in the shower. I just keep away from the water when using it. I don't tend to have my dildos as main stars. They are usually just inserted and then left there while I use other toys. It is bigger than I would normally go for, but 5 inches around is not too difficult to manage. If I was using this toy for thrusting I would have gotten a shorter toy. My partner can be over eager when using toys on me and he can sometimes bump my cervix. That's why I like to get shorter toys with based. That way it is impossible for him to do that.

Overall, I'm happy with my Rocket. I LOVE the colors. If only the tie-bright dildos here were a bit smaller...
