Use

The Share was made to be used as a strapless strap-on, meaning you don’t need a harness to use it (but you can use one with this product if you want extra support). The fact that it’s usable without a harness, it’s made of silicone, and you can feel it inside you while you do someone else (or masturbate with it) are the reasons this product is amazing.

The pony goes into the woman, and the insertable shaft goes into whomever she’s doing.

Heterosexual couples can use this for pegging, lesbians can use it to make sex even better, and anyone can use this for solo play -- using the pony or the dildo parts. You can even insert the pony to masturbate “like a man” to get both G-spot and clitoral stimulation.

Penetration and holding it in might take practice; I’d say this toy has a steeper learning curve than many toys out there, but it’s worth it.

Material / Texture

The Share is made of medical-grade silicone, and I love silicone because of how easy it is to clean and completely sanitize. This is my favorite silicone toy just because of how velvety and buttery soft yet firm it is. When you insert it, the insertable portion flops down some (but, I think, in a realistic way). This toy is tasteful, semi-realistic (but not realistic enough to scare away people who don’t like realistic toys), and beautiful; and it just feels great to the touch.

There is a seam, but I've never been able to feel it.

Design / Shape / Size

The Share comes in black, purple, or pink. I have the pink, and it’s not an overly bright baby pink but a soft pink.

Like I said earlier, the pony end is shaped to go into the vagina to hold it in place. If you struggle, I would practice doing some Kegels -- or, after you get this toy, just wear it around your house for a while or while you shower every day to work out those muscles that hold it in place. I found that the pony was such a good fit (a little wide and shaped like a kidney bean) that it went in and stayed in with minimal concentration (for me). I think this fits better and is easier to keep in than any other strapless strap-on I’ve tried, including the Nexus, the Feeldoe, and the Love Rider. I love the design because it's beautiful and ergonomic.

I cannot keep other strapless strap-ons I’ve tried in without the help of my harness. I can keep the Share in, and it’s the only toy yet. I think this is because of its ergonomic design and that the pony is slightly wide -- but not wide enough that it hurts.

There is about six inches of insertable shaft, and its diameter is slightly under two inches. I compare it to the Leo in size and think that the Share is just a little bit smaller, has a head that isn’t as prominent, and has less drag.

The shaft then widens out and makes that hill before it becomes the pony. This hill, or bump, provides some clitoral stimulation for the woman doing the fucking. There is not a texture there or lines of silicone as I’ve seen on other strapless strap-ons, but I think the other strapless strap-ons provide too much clit stimulation with that design. You still get stimulation with the Share, and it’s not too much.

Peg said in her review that she thinks it will take up “about as much room as a pair of shoes does” if you’re traveling with it. And I say that it will take less, unless you have tiny feet; I think it will take up about as much room as one shoe does. Other reviewers were also saying that if you’re bigger, you can use your thighs to help hold the toy up (and thus in). Well, I’m a smaller lady, and I use my thighs too. I think this advice applies to almost everyone.

Performance

My absolute favorite part about this toy is that I can use it without my harness, and I can feel my G-spot and clitoris being stimulated while I do my partner. This is an amazing and Earth-shaking feeling to me; it’s beautiful and also makes for some fun gender play. I especially recommend this to any lesbian/queer/bisexual woman who has been thinking about trying it because feeling what you’re doing really makes for a great experience and for better sex. I also think that being able to feel what you’re doing can make you have better aim and make you a better lover.

My girlfriend and I absolutely love this toy, and the performance feels good for the “fuckee” too.

Some people might struggle with holding the toy in; but like I said before, I think this is your best bet out of the other strapless strap-on options for holding the toy in.

As a note about condom use, the Share gets too wide near the base of the shaft to use a condom. The condom rolls just up the shaft of the toy. Maybe you could get a larger condom and just basically stretch over the hump so it’d come to the bottom of the pony. I just can’t guarantee it’d really protect either party because your fluids could drip down, and there’s nothing to stop the “doer” from being exposed to anything. This is something to consider.

Care and Maintenance

You can boil this for three minutes to fully disinfect it. You can wash it in the sink with soap. You can put it on the top rack of your dishwasher, wash it with toy cleaner, and even use a bleach solution on it. Silicone is such a good material to make toys out of! Just put it back in its box so that it doesn’t collect too much lint; and remember never to use silicone lube on it -- that would degrade the material of your toy, and you do NOT want that.

Packaging

The Share comes in a box that has a magnetic flap you can open to see the toy. Inside the flap are descriptions of the Share in four languages, counting English. Inside the box beneath a pullout under the Share is a booklet of Fun Factory products, two samples of Fun Factory toy-safe lube called “Toy Fluid,” and a pamphlet on caring for your Share. The box is tasteful; there are no buxom babes on it or anything like that.

Personal comments

If you have weak PC muscles or if you just want to feel more secure, you can use a harness with this toy -- and still insert the pony and get those sensations. If you’ve been thinking about getting one, you probably should. I highly recommend it; it’s my favorite strapless strap-on because it stays in so well.

Experience

I love holding this toy in my hand. It’s velvety and weighty and very beautiful. I love using this toy on my girlfriend; I love the sensations I get from doing her with it. It pops out in certain positions, but I chalk that up to the learning curve of using this toy. It slides back in easily enough, too.

I love masturbating "like a man" with this toy; I love masturbating using the insertable portion.

I LOVE THIS TOY.
Follow-up commentary
This the best double ended dildo I own. I can use it with or without my harness, and it's the easiest one for me to keep in without my harness.

The size is awesome, the silicone firmness and texture is awesome. The silicone smells good, it's matte but squishy, and you can sanitize it. It's realistic without being too realistic. I get g-spot stimulation while I have penetrative sex with my partner - without a harness!
This is one of the best toys I own for lesbian sex. I can "jack off" and feel it, the whole thing is still, and always will be, very sensual.

I can't imagine what it would do for the transgender community (and I'd probably buy one for genderbending possibilities!) if they made a more realistic looking one (skin colored, with balls, etc.) I mean it already feels good in the hands.

This toy brings me and my partners closer together.
HIGHLY recommended for those in the market for a double dildo. I'd recommend this over the feeldoe any day.

  • can you get off while using this?
    • I would really love to be using this with my partner, at got off at the same time..
    • without too much effort on my part?
    • It really depends on your anatomy and what gets you off.

If it can hit your g-spot, that'll do something, but it varies person-to-person how much. It might hit your clitoris, but again depends on how the toy fits your body - and if you can get off from that kind of stimulation.

Personally, I don't rely on it to get me "all the way" all by itself - because I can't orgasm so far with just g-spot and clitoral touching. Some people certainly can, it just depends. :)

  • Strapless dildos
    • Are strapless dildos hard to use for beginners?
    • I've never tried one myself, but I've heard they have a bit of a learning curve and you need strong kegels to use them properly. I've also heard, however, that they will work with a harness if you need extra stability.
    • It really seems like they're hard to use period. I don't know of anyone who regularly uses them without a harness (though I'd love to hear from someone who does).

How do these two products compare? Which one works better in and out of a harness?

      Thank you.

They both work well in a harness. Share is a little bouncier and thicker and jucier and Feeldoe is much firmer. I find them both easy to use with no harness, although I find Nexus JR the easiest to retain. Out of all the double dildoes I have tried (all 4 Feeldoes, both Shares, Tango, and the three Nexus sizes, I find Tango the hardest to hold with my muscles followed by Nexus Maximus (weighs a ton) and Share XL (weighs like a brick and is floppy) . I'm a driver. It matters a bit less if you are a pillow princess.
    • I have the Feeldoe(slim) and the Tango and have used the Share. I agree with Kuuipogal. But for me they all pop out just prior to orgasm despite strong Kegels but the "look" w/o a harness is awesome.
I am a hard and vigorous driver so a harness for me has been the solution. I have the Aslan Jaguar and the Spare Parts both super.

  • Strap-onless strap-ons
    • I love when my girlfriend ties me down and dominates me but we haven't given much thought to strap-ons. Are the strapless ones as good as the strap-ons?
    • A starp-on harness is a good initial investment because it can be used with a variety of toys including strapless ones (if desired).
The strapless ones seem to be pretty good, though depending on who you talk to. The Share line and the feeldoe line seem to get good marks from most and present the best chance that they can be used completely without a harness. The Nexus line would probably be somewhat more difficult for the giver to hold inside without a harness. I think the harness option might be better for versatility, but the Share might represent an excellent choice for you and your girlfriend as well.

Personally, I would say no... just because they're harder to navigate. Certainly possible, and you can add a harness to get more stability while keeping the internal stimulation. There are also some harnesses that will hold a cock inside the wearer as well, so you have more options.
I'd agree with Jimbo that either the Share or Feeldoe is your best bet for doubles like this, the Nexus just doesn't cut it.
