Sharing is Caring

The Share is a beautiful double dildo with an amazing high quality of silicone. The apparent shape and smoothness of the dildo makes it ideal for beginners and advanced alike. Though it may not live up to be a "strapless" strap-on entirely, the pleasure it provides to the once left out giver of strap-on sex makes it worth the price. The Share is a notable addition to any collector, and currently the best strapless on the market.

extremely useful review
The idea of a strapless strap-on has always been an extremely appealing one. There is something very mystical about a piece of silicone held inside ones body, like an extension of themselves, and the freedom from strap-ons. After researching, the Share by Fun Factory seemed to be the most suitable candidate in this new area of sex toys. The Share arrived to me in about two days, typical of EF, in a tall brown box with no markings indicating its embarrassing contents. The actual packaging of the Share is quite impressive. It is a very sturdy cardboard with a cool design and a flap up lid to reveal the toy. It displays the information about the toy, and frankly reminds me of Apple packaging to some extent. I would absolutely use this box for toy storage, though I wouldn't keep it out in the public.

The packaging contains the toy, a guarantee/warranty paper, instructions, and two packs of toy lube from fun factory. The Share itself is a hunk of matte silicone, which is the material of choice for sex toys due to its nonporous qualities. This prevents germs from cultivating on its surface, and makes it waterproof. The toy can be sanitized in the dish water, a pot of boiling water, or a bleach solution. Silicone lubes cannot be used on this toy, as it will make it deteriorate. The quality of the silicone on this toy is superiorly soft and skin-like, providing a friction needed to hold it in place. The front part of the toy (the "penis"), is 6 1/4 inches long and tapers to a diameter of 1 3/4 inches. The penis head is detailed enough for realism, but not so much to turn off beginning couples. The shaft is relatively smooth, except for a raised "line" that runs down it. The smoothness of the shaft and the way it gradually becomes larger is ideal for beginners to strap on sex.

Advanced users may be disappointed by the lack of texture and the size, and should stick to the XL version. Me and my partner had no trouble with the toy, as the upwards bend of the shaft provides adequate g-spot stimulation. The back part of the toy that is 4 1/4 inches long and has a diameter of 1 7/8 inches. It has an unusual kidney bean shape, meant to provide better grip in the vagina and stimulate the g-spot. Out of all the double ended dildos, this one is the most likely to stay in because of the shape and texture of this part. This side of the toy, because it doesn't gradually taper out into a larger size, can be difficult to insert. I used the provided lube on both ends, and I found it quite painful to put it in. Once it was fully inserted, however, I found that it felt relatively comfortable.

It is a fairly flexible silicone, which can be bent and formed to both ends for easier insertion. However, the "saddle" between the toy ends of the dildo combined with the weight of the front leads it to flop around when not in use. It does stay in, but just so much so it doesn't fall out. It doesn't seem to stick out for me, who has never done any pelvic exercises in my life and is not used to inserting anything in there. The feeling the weight of the dildo felts very nice and adds to the realistic experience. It seems to become another appendage of myself, and it feels very liberating to not have straps around my thighs.

In use, the flop of the toy may be an issue. It makes one more cautious of their movements, trying to steady the dildo in place and monitoring their thrusts. You may need to hold it in place at some points. This is a good thing or a bad thing, depending on the person. I should warn that more lubricated you are on the giving end, the more likely it is to fall out. I would use this dildo with a harness regardless of its purpose for extra rough sex, where it is likely to fall out and put an awkward halt to your loving. Even with a harness, the toy truly provides a unique level of pleasure and attachment for the giver that other strap ons cannot provide, and I recommend it to any person interested in strap-on sex, beginners or advanced.

Glad to hear this could be used for beginners. I am a newbie to pegging, but the double-ended ones just look so fun.

  • can you get off while using this?
    • I would really love to be using this with my partner, at got off at the same time..
    • without too much effort on my part?
    • It really depends on your anatomy and what gets you off.

If it can hit your g-spot, that'll do something, but it varies person-to-person how much. It might hit your clitoris, but again depends on how the toy fits your body - and if you can get off from that kind of stimulation.

Personally, I don't rely on it to get me "all the way" all by itself - because I can't orgasm so far with just g-spot and clitoral touching. Some people certainly can, it just depends. :)

  • Strapless dildos
    • Are strapless dildos hard to use for beginners?
    • I've never tried one myself, but I've heard they have a bit of a learning curve and you need strong kegels to use them properly. I've also heard, however, that they will work with a harness if you need extra stability.
    • It really seems like they're hard to use period. I don't know of anyone who regularly uses them without a harness (though I'd love to hear from someone who does).

How do these two products compare? Which one works better in and out of a harness?

      Thank you.

      Thank you.
They both work well in a harness. Share is a little bouncier and thicker and jucier and Feeldoe is much firmer. I find them both easy to use with no harness, although I find Nexus JR the easiest to retain. Out of all the double dildoes I have tried (all 4 Feeldoes, both Shares, Tango, and the three Nexus sizes, I find Tango the hardest to hold with my muscles followed by Nexus Maximus (weighs a ton) and Share XL (weighs like a brick and is floppy) . I'm a driver. It matters a bit less if you are a pillow princess.
    • I have the Feeldoe(slim) and the Tango and have used the Share. I agree with Kuuipogal. But for me they all pop out just prior to orgasm despite strong Kegels but the "look" w/o a harness is awesome.
I am a hard and vigorous driver so a harness for me has been the solution. I have the Aslan Jaguar and the Spare Parts both super.

  • Strap-onless strap-ons
    • I love when my girlfriend ties me down and dominates me but we haven't given much thought to strap-ons. Are the strapless ones as good as the strap-ons?
    • A starp-on harness is a good initial investment because it can be used with a variety of toys including strapless ones (if desired).
The strapless ones seem to be pretty good, though depending on who you talk to. The Share line and the feeldoe line seem to get good marks from most and present the best chance that they can be used completely without a harness. The Nexus line would probably be somewhat more difficult for the giver to hold inside without a harness. I think the harness option might be better for versatility, but the Share might represent an excellent choice for you and your girlfriend as well.

Personally, I would say no... just because they're harder to navigate. Certainly possible, and you can add a harness to get more stability while keeping the internal stimulation. There are also some harnesses that will hold a cock inside the wearer as well, so you have more options.
I'd agree with Jimbo that either the Share or Feeldoe is your best bet for doubles like this, the Nexus just doesn't cut it.
