Sherbet sex toy review

The Sherbet dildo/vibrator has a lot going for it. It has light vibrations when used as a vibrator, and overall, it does its job well. The only problem is removing the vibrating bullet easily from the base.
Published:
Pros

extremely useful review
The Sherbet dildo/vibrator|Sherbet - Dildo by Tantus has a lot going for it. Being made of silicone, it doesn’t have that jelly smell to it that is so hard to get rid of. It is a pleasant light green color (just about the color of lime sherbet), which was not intimidating to my partner. At seven and a half inches long, it is a good length (seven inches insertable). It is just over an inch and a half in diameter, which was just the right thickness for me.

The head has an interesting swirl texture. Initially, I found it not as comfortable as a smooth head, especially when inserting; although using plenty of lubricant, it felt fine. Once it was inserted, the swirls created a pleasant sensation.

The Sherbet is firm but not so rigid that it doesn’t flex with you. The base is flared, as you can also use this as a strap-on in a harness. It provided a good grip for thrusting, both by my partner and by me.

I was intrigued by the insertable bullet vibrator that came with it. It is powered by watch batteries, which are included. When the bullet is inserted into the base of the Sherbet and twisted, it provides pleasant vibrations, not too intense, spread evenly up and down the entire length of the shaft. It is not very noisy at all.

This was my first experience with a silicone vibrator, and it was very enjoyable. The only problem with the bullet is that it is not easy to remove. I thought it would just slide out, but instead, I had to get a pair of long-nosed pliers to remove it from the base. If you only intend to use this as a vibrator, this isn’t too much of a problem as you can unscrew the base of the bullet to replace the batteries, but if you want to alternate use as a dildo and vibrator|Life-like vibrating dildos, make sure you keep an extraction tool handy. The bullet removal and reinsertion may get easier over time, but it may take a while.  I also think it is better to remove the bullet before washing, so it does not become damaged.

Overall, the Sherbet dildo-vibrator is pleasant and effective, and I would definitely recommend it.
Follow-up commentary
After having this toy for a while now, I still enjoy it a lot!

I have, however, given up on using this toy as a vibrator.  The bullet is too difficult to remove, and I am afraid I will break it.

I had thought it would get easier to remove with time and that the hole where it is inserted would loosen a bit, but neither has occurred so far.  I may look to see if I can find a smaller bullet to put inside, as the vibrations were wonderful.

This is an excellent toy when used as a dildo, and my partner and I are still happy with it and using it this way.  I would still recommend this.

Thanks - and that was a great video

Could you gouge out the bullet holder a little to make it more accommodating?
  • Contributor: Sammi
    You probably could try that.

Too bad it didn't loosen up with time. I had a toy with similar problems that "ate" a bullet... I was never able to get it out, even with pliers. The gouging suggestion could work, but sanding/filing might be a better idea, as it might open the hole more evenly, and you wouldn't have one spot significantly thinner than the rest, which might lead to tearing.

    Great review!

ugh more watch batteries! I mean I guess I understand and you CAN find them but I ALWAYS have AA laying around the house! It's nice that most things that take them come with the batteries already! Thanks for the review!

I did eventually find a thinner corded bullet that I can insert and remove without too much problem. Plus it uses AAs in the battery pack. It could be that the one I got was tighter than normal, and I will say that it's great as a regular dildo.

Would this work with a harness? thanks for the review! I love the color.

Oh no. It has actually been discontinued. I guess you can disregard my question. Thanks anyways Smile

I was going to say it would, if you could get the head through the ring.
Too bad it's been discontinued - I didn't realize that!
