Silicone Crystal Cote Review
This is a great toy for the price tag. I only use this every once in a while because the ribbed texture makes me sore. The Silicone Crystal Cote is an eye-catching piece and a good toy for beginners.Published: January 24, 2009

The bright colors of the Silicone Crystal Cote, combined with the fantastic detail that was given to the head and balls would probably make this toy one of the most eye-catching pieces in anyone's collection. I chose the purple variation, but it's quite tame compared to the orange and pink variations. Now I wish I had chosen the orange. 
It's great for vaginal use, and it's quite safe for anal use as well (because of the base). The head of this dildo is also fantastic for clitoral stimulation.
The suction-cup base is quite strong, and sticks on just about any flat surface: a chair, a stool, the shower wall, etc. It also doubles as a pretty good handgrip.
When I first opened the package, I was not met with any strong smells as I was expecting. This toy is made of non-porous TPR Silicone. Lube (water-based only, as silicone-based lube will deteriorate the toy) is a must with this one, otherwise you might have a bit of trouble getting it in. It's firm, flexible, and becomes smooth when used with lube. Clean-up is a snap! Just use some hot water and some anti-bacterial soap, and you're set.
The size of this toy is just right for me, although others have complained that it isn't big enough. You can insert it as far as 4.5 inches. If you're looking for a good starter dildo, definitely give this one a shot.
One thing I did not like about this toy was the ribbed texture. I have tried ribbed dildos before, and they always make me sore. From the website pictures I couldn't tell just how ribbed this toy was. I thought it would be no big deal, but even the smallest amount of ribbed texture seems to bother me. The ribbed texture just did not agree with me--otherwise I would have definitely kept this one. If you like ribbed texture toys, this would still be a great one to try.

TPR silicone cannot really be sterilized, so condom use is still a good idea if anal use or sharing are on the agenda. It has always intrigued me how the coloring was done with this toy as it goes from colored to clear. It is pretty unique and looks pretty cool to me. That material is usually very soft, so I appreciate the note about the ribbing since my partner is pretty sensitive to it as well. Thanks for the review.
