Platinum silicone tool - sex toy by Doc Johnson - review by Holly Hox

This toy is a strap on dildo - but I do not have the necessary tools to use this toy in a strap on capacity. But for those of you who are interested, it is O-ring compatible.

I used it as a regular dildo, and it worked great that way. Since it has a flared base, it is safe to use for anal play as well as vaginal play. Great fun alone or with a partner!

The material is silicone, which is one of the safest materials out there in the world of sex toys. This is my first silicone toy, so I was really excited about it. I was pleased when it arrived. It is smooth and a beautiful color. There was no smell or taste at all, which for me is also a big plus.

There is no texture to it other than the smooth feel I mentioned before, so it really is just a smooth ride.

It is not hard - there is some give unlike a glass toy. It is bendable, but not flaccid. Insertion was easy and required no lube for me. This toy was a great size and texture for a user on any point of the scale.

The design was great. However, I cannot speak from the actual strap on perspective. As a straightforward dildo, it was excellent and worked just as one would suspect. The size was good as well. About 6 inches of insertable length, which is what most of my toys are. The diameter was good as well at 1 3/8 inch. I would not have complained if it had been thicker, but really it didn't matter.

Traveling with this toy would be easy. Just pack it in with your things and go. It makes no noise and requires no batteries.

I love the flared base of this toy. It was really easy to grip and I was able to keep hold of it, even when things got a little juicy.

This toy is silicone and very easy to care for. It is dishwasher safe, boilable, and bleachable - so it really couldn't be any easier for you. It would be better to dry it with an lint free towel or let it air dry, as it does tend to collect tiny pieces of lint.

Water based lubricant is perfect for this toy, but do not use a silicone based lube with a silicone toy.

I store most of my toys in their own pouch or bag within a larger container.

This toy came in a plastic box with very little instructions in several different languages.
