Silver Slim=serious sensations!

I think that this item was one of the better purchases I have made, and I think that all of my purchases from Eden's are definitely worth it so far. My girlfriend begged me to reveal it to her early, despite our plans of waiting for a special occasion.

Use

The Slim Jim dildo is great! It fits perfectly into the mid-sized ring for my harness. With its extra wide base, slipping out of the O ring is nearly impossible. It is hypoallergenic, it is able to be boiled for sterilization, or easily cleaned with your favorite toy cleaner or soap and warm water. I suggest using a water-based lube, as silicone lube was not recommended by the manufacturer.

I ordered this dildo for my girlfriend who does not have too much experience with strap-ons; or dildos for that matter. I did not want to frighten her away from toys all together, so I chose the Slim Jim. She was nervous, but overall, she really enjoyed her first experiences. The size is not intimidating, and the shape is perfect for hitting the g-spot. I recommend this for beginners and "smaller" women or men.

Material / Texture

The slim Jim has no odor, which is great. I have had others that the smell never went away. With the Slim Jim, there never was a "new" smell.
It is made out of silicone, so it is firm but soft to touch. It is also not sticky, as other dildos have been in the past.

Design / Shape / Size

The Slim Jim is a little smaller than I am used to in terms of size, but it still did the job. It is about 6.5 inches insert-able length, and about 7 measuring the base. There is a "head" on it, and some texture bumps for extra sensation. It was the perfect size for my girlfriend! There is a extra large base for use with a harness, and the extra base helped to keep it from slipping out of the rings.

The silver swirly design also makes it attractive to those of us who would prefer to not have a more "realistic" looking dildo.

Performance

I loved using this one on my girlfriend. It is harness compatible which is great. Things can get a little crazy and it is still there doing its job as it was meant to.

Care and Maintenance

The Slim Jim is VERY easy to take care of; another reason why it is great for beginners. It is hypoallergenic and you can boil it to sterilize it. It is also cleaned easily with soap and warm water, or your favorite toy cleanser or wipe. It is not compatible with silicone based lubricants, so use with only water based lubes.

Packaging

This toy's packaging was not too impressive. It is simple, and to the point. It came in a plastic bag with a cardboard label stapled to it. There are simple and to the point care instructions.
Follow-up commentary
I have had the Slim Jim, now, for some time. I still love the size and the texture, and I would order it again if I needed to.

A few months ago I was going to post the follow up review, but I am glad that I waited. Recently I retired Slim Jim to the bottom of my toy bag. I started to need to use more and more lube in order to keep this toy feeling right. It seems that because I loved this toy so much for so long, that it disintegrated. The surface is no longer smooth. It makes so much more friction when in use, and requires so much lube that you feel more like you are swimming than having sex.

I would not say that I do not like it anymore, because the toy always did what it needed to. I just think that, because of the frequency of it's use, it needed to retire.

I would still highly recommend this toy to anyone who has a craving for a good dildo.

    • Well, they're both similar in size and are both made of body-safe silicone (which can be sterilized, by the way), but it really depends on what your partner enjoys inside. Are gentle curves better, or is the pronounced head something that they might prefer? Many people love the Mistress dildo. Why not get your partner's opinoin on it?
