T-Rex - realistic dildo by Tantus - review by Upskirt

T-rex is a large (no joke, it's huge) semi-realistic dildo made by Tantus. According to Tantus it was designed specifically for use in a harness (I don't have a harness so I don't know how well it works in a harness.) It can be used anally (I haven't tried that yet, it's a little scary) or vaginally, since it has a large flared base

Though T-rex isn't super long it is very heavy and I have found that in some positions it does hit my cervix. So I would definitely caution everyone to be careful.

T-rex is made of 100% platinum silicone. Which means, use water-based lubes or do a patch test on the base.

The head of the toy and the base are the shiny type of silicone, and the body and rest of the toy are the matte type of silicone. I find that the whole toy tends to attract a ton of lint and hair.

T-rex does have a small amount of texture up the shaft and around the head. I don't really notice any of the texture on the shaft when I use it, but I definitely notice that the lip on the head is there, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to a beginner because of that, and it's general hugeness.

It is fairly easy to clean since it is silicone, just soap and water. Or for a more thorough cleaning you can stick it in the top rack of your dishwasher, use a 10% bleach solution, or boil it.

T-rex is a semi-realistic dildo, the unrealistic part being the huge proportions. It is 8.5" long total with 6" insertable. This dildo is more about the width than the length though, it measures 2 1/4" diameter around the head and the bottom of the shaft while the rest shaft is 2" diameter. It also weighs in at 1.75 lbs, so it can be a little hard to maneuver. But, the weight definitely helps keep the toy sitting upright when placed on a flat, even surface.

I wouldn't recommend traveling with the T-rex, simply because of its size.

How it works for solo masturbation? It's pretty awesome. But, it does weigh 1.75 lbs. So it can be hard to maneuver, especially with one hand and the base is pretty flimsy. I find that it's easier to hold with the base if I'm thrusting, but some may prefer to hold it in between the base and balls. I find that the easiest way to use it is to ride it, because then you don't have to hold it, making the whole masturbating experience a whole lot better.

Silicone is very easy to take care of and can be cleaned with soap and water. Or if you want to thoroughly clean it you can boil it, wash with a 10% bleach solution, or put in the top rack of your dishwasher.

T-rex attracts a ton of lint, and I'm not sure if it's because it's just bigger, or if the silicone is more sticky than other types of silicone. But, it should be stored in what it came in, a Ziploc bag, or some other type of storage that will keep it lint free. Personally since it takes up a lot of space in its original packaging I've been thinking about putting it in a Ziploc.

Silicone toys should only be used with water-based lubes; you can do a test patch (on the base where it won't be noticeable) if you really need your silicone lube. But, you risk wrecking your toy.
