Sleek Black Double-Ended Dildo
Published: October 21, 2008
useful review
Sleek, smooth, and feminine Ella delivers what a lot of dildos don't: the versatility of two different penetration experiences. One end is a perfectly curved g-spot dildo with a flat head, the other is a regular smooth round dildo, wonderful for thrusting.
Pros:
Double-ended, wonderful g-spot stimulation, easy to clean.
Cons:
Not terribly large around.
I absolutely love LELO toys, and Ella is no different. Like all Lelo toys she comes in a gorgeous black box with a satin pouch, manual, and (one year) warranty information. Although all other Lelo toys currently available Ella is a dildo, so there’s nothing to plug in or charge up, Ella is ready to go immediately. She is made 100% out of silicone, is extremely sleek and classy, and comes in either black or white, I got the black.
As I mentioned, Ella is currently the only dildo in the Lelo line, and is a double-ended dildo to boot. Her two ends look a bit like the Gigi and the Liv put end-to-end. I’m a bit of a size queen, though I appreciate small toys if they are well made, and Ella is a little smaller around than I thought she would be, but her shape more than makes up for it. She is only just over one inch in diameter (1 1/4″), but regardless I found her to be absolutely fantastic for g-spot stimulation, especially the end that is curved with the flat head (Gigi-like).
I tried Ella a few different ways: thrusting inside of me, working inside of me, and with a vibe on my clit. Of course (clit whore as I am) I got off with a vibe on my clit, I used both the Hitachi and Nea with Ella and enjoyed each combination. The accessorizer in me enjoyed having the black Ella and black Nea working together. Thrusting with both ends of Ella was highly pleasurable and Ella seemed larger when she was inside of me, probably because of her perfect curves. Both ends make a wonderful handle for the other so the toy is extremely easy to maneuver.
Like all Lelo toys Ella was just absolutely fantastic, and looks more like a work of art than a dildo. It is sleek, feminine, elegant, and gorgeous. I am constantly amazed with the pleasure objects Lelo produces and I can’t wait to get my hands on more of their toys!

Ella and Gigi
-
ValynI've had both the Ella and the Gigi sitting in my shopping cart for days now. I was wondering.. should I get them both, or should I maybe just get one to try, then maybe later on get the other if I want?
They both seem so worth it, it's hard to just pick one! -

I have had the GiGi for a couple of months and rarely use it, mainly because the control thing is located in the worst possible spot, and I invariably hit it and make the settings change! Argh! I also had no luck with it for g-spot stimulation, and the only times I get it out it is for clit work.

Even though I wasn't crazy about GiGi, it seems to do the job for a lot of people, so it might work for you. In fact, I bought it based on all the wonderful reviews. I've come to the conclusion that there is no one toy that will do the trick for everyone. Everyone is VERY different in their tastes and what they need. -
Liz2I agree that no toy is good for everyone. I can not get a rabbit vibe that actually works for me by stimulating my clit and vag at the same time. Perhaps its operator error.
Anyway, I love the Gigi. I solved the control issue for me anyway by wiping the lube off the control and my fingers...success. The effectiveness of the Gigi is the vibe plus the design. I don't have the Ella, which is not a vibe but I see it as similar to many of the g spot dils available.

This is quite the looker!
AND it doesn't break the bank like a lot of other Lelo toys.
This is a nice toy, definitely. It's one of the few non-harness compatible dildos I've ever considered getting.
Thanks for the review!
Everyone seems to be giving Ella such great reviews that I've been thinking of getting her rather than the more expensive Gigi.
