Slim Pleasure
The Slim Jim is an absolutely fantastic silicone dildo for prostate and anal use for guys. The slim design means that you don't really have to "warm-up" to it while the nice, firm silicone and curved design hits the prostate fantastically. It doesn't work the best for harness uses, but for manual stimulation and thrusting, we both are in love.Published: January 10, 2012
Pros:
Firm silicone, Curve holds strong, Fits into a harness, Fantastic shape, Slim diameter
Cons:
May not be long enough for harness use for all people
The Slim Jim silicone dildo is a Happy Valley silicone dildo. It's true-to-size to EdenFantasy's measurements and Real-Size widget, and the silver version is beautifully marbled. This is a single-density, firm silicone dildo that includes a harness-compatible base.
I have to admit that we're both a bit taken by this dildo. I was expecting it to be good (as we've had fantastic luck with our other Happy Valley dildos), but this one is really amazing for what we wanted it for. We wanted it for anal use and for, hopefully, prostate stimulation wit the intense curve that the Slim Jim possesses.
Comparison-wise, I looked at this one because it was similar to the VixSkin Spur. It's also semi-similar to the FunFactory Whirly in terms of both diameter, curve, and length. However, both the Whirly and the Spur are relatively flexible (the Spur is flexible in the shaft/base while the Whirly is flexible in the base). This can make the curve of both dildos really hard to use for good pressure because the toy tends to bend internally instead of staying firm and still applying pressure.
That's exactly what the Happy Valley Slim Jim doesn't do though. The Slim Jim is made of very, very firm, matte silicone through the body of the dildo. It doesn't bend at the base, and it doesn't bend throughout the shaft either. It's a very, very firm silicone without much plushiness to it, and that's exactly what we needed.
It does work fantastically for anal use on a male. The boyfriend says it hits his prostate amazingly, and he's remarked on how easy the base is to hold too. He has currently abandoned the VixSkin Spur, which was his favorite, in favor of the Slim Jim. He's tried it both laying on his back and in a riding-like position, and he says that he prefers the Spur for riding-purposes as it's softer and not as "poke"-y to his anatomy, but he says that the Slim Jim wins, hands down, for stimulation when laying on your back or manually thrusting the toy into you. If it helps convince you, within a couple uses of this toy, he loved it enough that it went onto my "Favorite Products" list here on EF. We really do love it.
The Slim Jim is also harness-compatible. The base is very firm, and it holds the Slim Jim up really nicely without any drooping. I would not, however, probably recommend it for heavier women like myself. It's a fantastic dildo, and it works great for hand use, but because of the semi-short length, you'll "lose" quite a bit of length once added into a harness. Factor that into a larger body frame or having a bit of a tummy, and you'll lose a bit more length. At least, that's how it was for us. If you've had good luck with strap-ons as a plus-sized woman with shorter length, totally go for it, but in general, from my experience, I'd say this one doesn't work too well as a strap-on for plus-sized women.
This one is easy for clean up too. You just want to use warm water and antibacterial soap on it, and it cleans up great. It's slim enough for a condom if you want. Personally, we leave it in the sink overnight when we use it, and it rids of all anal-type of odors from sitting in the hot bath of water. I know not all people can do that though. For lubricant, make sure to use water-based lubricant; we've been using Wet Gel lubricant with this one.
I definitely recommend this for anal pleasure for males or vaginal pleasure for females, but I think that it really excels as an anal dildo. That's just because it has such an extreme curve, has such a slender shape for anal beginners/intermediates, and it holds its shape really well while thrusting which can help hit the prostate in guys. For that reason, I do think it really excels as a male prostate toy, and if you happen to be a smaller-bodied female, you could probably use it for strap on and pegging with a male partner as well.

powerhousemy gf and i would like to try vaginal penetration and i'm stuck between the slim jim or the mistress, i like the more realistic look of the slim jim but the mistress looks like more of a smoother ride so to speak, i want it to be as comfortable for her as possible seeing as its her first time, any suggestions? -
powerhousei really need help on this one before i actually but the product so any suggestions would help -
Well, they're both similar in size and are both made of body-safe silicone (which can be sterilized, by the way), but it really depends on what your partner enjoys inside. Are gentle curves better, or is the pronounced head something that they might prefer? Many people love the Mistress dildo. Why not get your partner's opinoin on it?
