Smooth double header by Doc Johnson

I gave this toy 4 out of 5 stars only because I usually reserve 5 stars for high-quality toys that will last at least a decade. But I would highly recommend this budget toy to anybody who wants to try mutual penetration. Mutual penetration with a double dildo is probably easier to master than dildo and harness sex, and it's divine to feel your partner's body right up against yours, without any leather straps in the way. That said, you can't pull out and switch positions quite as easily as with harness sex, for obvious reasons.

This dildo is a little on the thick side (1.5 inches diameter), so you have to be nicely turned on and lubricated before you insert it. The length (about 17.5 inches) is wonderful for two full-bodied people. Thinner people would probably be able to enjoy a slightly shorter double dildo, but if you have some "cushion for the pushin'"--as my girlfriend and I do--nothing shorter than 17 inches will work well. (And, really, I can't imagine that anything less than 15 inches would work well for anybody who wants to be filled up, regardless of how thin they are, because a couple of inches will always lay outside of your bodies.)

It's bendable, but does not maintain a bent position unless you hold it, which works better for sex between two people because it moves with you and is in a slightly curved position. Theoretically, I think you could use it for the simultaneous anal and vaginal penetration of one person, but it would resist such a bend and probably be prone to popping out. Then again, it's cheap enough to buy it just to experiment!

My girlfriend deeply enjoys it when I use this dildo for manual penetration because the considerable length that's outside of her body and bobbing about causes the part that's inside of her to vibrate deliciously.

Of course, this is a cheap sex toy that definitely won't last a lifetime. Because it's porous, you absolutely have to use it with condoms, which of course, adds to its lifetime cost (unless you are savvy about getting free condoms, of course). Also, it's not the highest quality rubber toy out there; there are tiny imperfections and holes on the surface that are breeding grounds for bacteria, and because it's made of rubber, it can't be totally sterilized. After a while, you may want to upgrade to a nicer toy made of silicone or pyrex. Unfortunately, there is not, to my knowledge, any toy available in this style and made out of silicone.

I actually think that the long, straight but bendable dildo is the best style of double dildo because it fits everybody. In fact, I really wish they made a toy in this style out of high-grade silicone because I haven't had a good experience with the silicone double-enders. There are about three inflexible, curved, high-end, double-ended dildos out there with unique shapes that promise to fit all bodies, but the fact is that nothing under the sun fits everybody. I invested in a Feeldoe, but have been disappointed because it doesn't work too well for my girlfriend and me. It would be so much better if the longer dick were a couple of inches longer. It's a beautiful dildo, made of quality silicone, and I think more practice will improve our enjoyment of it. Still, it will probably never be a staple of our sex life. I hadn't wanted to invest in another expensive double, so the smooth double header was an ideal buy for me.
