Smooth SoloI wasn't thrilled or disappointed with the Glass Wand. It was really just okay for me. It did the job but not on its own. It would be a good toy to have around for those lonely times or when you just can't wait for your partner to be there. I'm glad I used a gift card for this and not cash. I wouldn't purchase it again, but I will keep it around. It may not be for everyone, and some may enjoy it more than I do.
For intermediate users, hot or cold play, best for solo usage
Heavy, can be uncomfortable
I believe the Glass Wand is perfect for solo sessions. It must be used with ease due to its shape and size. A partner may get a bit out of control using this on you. It is a little heavy, so make sure you switch hands. The Glass Wand is a great standby to have for those times when your partner isn't around and you can't wait until they are. It is made of glass and has a great tolerance for hot or cold play. The ridgy bumps on the tip of the toy can be a little harsh if you try to be too rough with the toy. There is no need to be cautious in using force because this glass dildo is sturdy and can withstand pressure. Bruising can occur if you are too rough; this is best suited for a sensual, slow solo session. I would not recommend it for a beginner or for someone who is not used to this type of toy with the ridges, bumps, and rounded areas. Also, I definitely would not suggest this for anal play whatsoever. I recommend it for vaginal use only. There is a small handle on the end so that you can twist the toy while inserting or twist while it's inside, which does give a nice sensation.
There is no scent at all with this being a glass toy. It is definitely an abstract-feeling/looking toy that would not easily be disguised. Different sensations are given dependent upon the temperature used. If it's heated, it tends to give more sensation when hitting the G-Spot; cold play gives you gentle tingles throughout the vagina, and at room temperature, it will adapt to your body well. The ridges with the bumps on the tip definitely add some to the stimulation of the G-Spot. It is not for beginners.
The design is what intrigued me to get this toy. It tapers from thin to thick from tip to base, and the base is rather wide. It can be a little uncomfortable at first, but you adjust. The size is definitely satisfying in both length and girth. It would travel well if protected in a sturdy case. I enjoyed the different ridges and bumps on the toy; it provided different sensations and different sensory stimulations of the G-Spot. Even rubbed on the clitoris, it is enjoyable. The size and girth are better suited for an intermediate user or for someone with more sexual experience. There really is nothing discreet about this toy as you can definitely tell what its purpose is.
I think that the ridges and bumps are the best features of this toy. The weight of the toy isn't so hot, but if you have strength in your arms, you can handle it. I do like how the girth tapers from tip to base; each section of the toy feels different as it's inserted.
The Glass Wand is not entirely easy to clean due to the ridges and creases in the tip. It is stored in a velvet bag, wrapped in a handkerchief. It should definitely be kept out of view of the eye and away from hard surfaces. It would work very well with any type of lube as it is glass and can withstand an additional lubrication that is warming or tingling.
The toy came packaged in a sturdy Styrofoam encasement. It did have a twisty tie around it to keep it in place. The packaging is not discreet. The toy can be stored in the original package if you wanted to and can easily be wrapped to be given as a gift. There is a plastic box inside of a cardboard box to encase the toy itself. Usage and cleaning instructions were easily comprehended.
I'm not 100% sold on this toy just yet. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't earth shattering. It did the job it was made to do with ease and stimulation. This may sit on the shelf and only be brought out when I really need to use it for a solo session.
I used this solo with no husband involved this time. I needed no extra lubrication with it at all. It's not a toy that I would use often for solo experiences. I do prefer vibes, but sometimes I just want something straightforward. For those who are more into solo sessions, this would work well for you. It takes some getting used to and some finesse when using it. This is not something that you want to get rough and rowdy with at all; it can do some damage if you're too rough. I was satisfied at the end of the experience, but I did have to use some of my imagination to get to that point.
