Spiral probe - glass anal dildo by Phallix - review by Jobthingy

USE:

The Spriral Probe by Phallix is one gorgeous piece of glass. The clear glass combined with the raised blue swirls make it beautiful to admire. It is used vaginally to tempt and tease, the swirls make for some amazing texture and the bulbed head gives a nice full feeling. It is not recommended for anal use because of the lack of flared base. You could technically insert the bottom, pointed end anally but the bulbed head is not quite large enough to keep it from being sucked in. It also might be a little pokey. Of course, as with all toys, if you know enough to hold on tight, have at it any way you please.

MATERIAL/TEXTURE/DESIGN/SHAPE:

This bad boy is made of glass. Pure, hare, unforgiving glass. With glass being so hard, it always feels bigger than what it actually is. Glass is also great fun for temperature play. You can warm it up or cool it down in a bowl of water.

The total length of this toy is 8 inches long. The bottom is tapered to a dull point, it comes up to a 5.5 inch long, straight shaft that is swirled all the way up with a raised, blue spiral. The shaft alone is 1 inch in diameter but with the raised spiral detail it gives it a total diameter of 1.25. The head is a 1.5 inch long ball that is 1.5 inches across.



CARE AND STORAGE:

Glass is the easiest material in the toy world to take care of. Wash it down with warm water and anti-bacterial soap (paying extra attention to the spots where the spirals are to be sure there is no gunk left there), spray it with your favorite toy cleaner, boil it, or dishwasher it (top rack, no soap). You can use any type of lube with this toy and you wont need much of it. A little will go a long way.

Phallix gives you a rather thin, satin storage pouch to store your toy in. You can use this to store it in to prevent it from bumping too hard against other hard toys. You can also purchase a padded pouch or make one of your own. Always be sure to check your glass toy regularly for chips or cracks. If you find any, discard it immediately. You don't want to be cutting up your bits.

HOW DID IT WORK?

This one gets a big old WOW from me. The bulbed head feels amazing and even though it is not a curved shaft, it puts some serious pressure on the G-spot. That combined with the spirals that slightly bump their way in and out is the perfect combination for serious orgasms. I do wish Phallix would make better storage pouches, but that is nothing my crochet hook can't fix.
