Latex stud multi-speed vibe - vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by ShadowKitten

I bought this vibe as I've been wanting a realistic-ish penis vibe for quite some time but most of the ones out there were too big for me to use anally until I found this toy. I bought it for anal use although because it does not have a flared base it is not safe or recommended for anal use at all as it may warrant a very unfun trip to the hospital if it gets lost up your bum... I'm guessing it would have been more suited to vaginal use (which I of course sadly cannot experience).

The Latex Stud vibe is made of soft latex, but if you push into it it seems like the latex exterior is packed around some kind of foam which makes the vibe not overly flexible. As well the vibrating 'rod' inside it prevents the lower half it from flexing at all, it smells a bit off but I don't mind it as it's not an overly powerful scent and likely will dull with more use.

The texture is slightly veined and is more aimed to moderate to advanced users in my opinion but adds a bit more stimulation.

This vibe is a decent girth, I couldn't insert it fully as the size is listed as 1 1/2" but that really only accounts for the first 3 or so inches of the toy as it broadens out to a very girthy base as it gets closer to the end cap and dial.

Again I must reiterate that this is not designed to be an anal toy and is unsafe for that purpose, even though I use it for that it's not recommended at all for that. It's not discreet at all either so I wouldn't really suggest traveling with it, it's clearly a penis and a vibrator.

The overall design of this vibe makes it so it's not overly realistic but still looks like a penis enough so that phallic idealists (lol) will enjoy it.

The functions of this vibe are limited to...well, being a vibrator! The vibrations aren't overly strong but I blame that on the cushioned insides of the vibe, which as I mentioned is likely some sort of foam which weaken it's overall power; even with the dial twisted all the way up.

It has 3 different strengths of vibrations from what I can tell, the most powerful one is just 'fine' in my opinion, nothing special. The Latex Stud is a bit noisy, a bit louder than the average cell phone vibration hum but again not too loud. I doubt it could be heard under a blanket or through a closed door unless the door is very thin.

It is not waterproof from what I can tell either so I wouldn't suggest using it in the shower or tub. This vibe uses 2 AA batteries so you'll likely have plenty around.

I use a condom always with this toy because I use it anally but if I didn't I would still probably just take out the batteries (keep the cap on though) and run it under some hot water and soap keeping the cap above the water at all times. I use water based lubes on it but you can use silicone with it as well.

Latex is porous so if you plan to share this toy you and your partner must use a condom and common sense.
I store it in its clam shell package for now as it does tend to attract dust and lint otherwise, soon it may get moved to a zip-lock bag though.

This was just an 'OK' toy to use, it's certainly not my favorite nor the strongest toy in my collection but I like having at least one more phallic toy kicking about when I'm in the mood for a bigger girth anally even though this toy is not meant for anal use due to the lack of a flared base. Again I must recommend not using it for that as it is dangerous.
For the price I'd say it's worth it, especially if you're a woman as this toy is more aimed at women than men.
