For years, I've carried on my key chain a small self-defense weapon called a Kubotan. It's meant to add weight to a punch, assist with leverage moves, or dig into delicate body parts in order to break an assailant's hold. I'm pleased to say that I've never (yet) had cause to use mine.
I mention this only because the Threaded Love Wand by Phallix looks remarkably like a Kubotan. The only thing missing is a key chain attachment.
I love sex toys that don't have the whole tacky plastic look, and the Love Wand certainly manages to avoid looking cheap. Instead it's compact and shiny, with a rounded ball on one end and a gently tapered tip on the other. The toy comes with a thin satiny bag for storage.
A stainless steel toy will last a lifetime with proper care, and it's really not hard at all to care for this sort of toy. Wash it with soap and water, run it through the dishwasher or boil it to keep it clean. Protect it from dings, and don't even think about using any abrasives on it. Scratches will make the toy a little less pretty but by no means unusable.
I tried the toy for some intense pre-fucking vaginal stimulation with a partner. We didn't use lube (a rarity for me); the toy's surface is so nearly friction-free that it hardly needs any lube. I very much enjoyed the coolness of the toy as it slid into me and the heat it acquired by the time it slid back out.
The narrow ridges around its pointy end provided only a subtle extra sensation, while the rounded end felt great on the g-spot. The ball offers somewhat of a handhold on one side, and the ridges provided a very slight degree of grip to the other side.

I carry a small can of mace on my keys.. I'm glad they haven't made a sex toy that resembles it. lol. As far as the wand being cold on initial contact, is there any way to warm it up beforehand? The only other steel product I have is the Kegelcisor and it was constantly cold, the company did this for more effective exercises. Needless to say it wasn't very comfortable as it always felt like ice. -
