Sugar drop sex toy review

I loved the Sugar Drop's great colors, contoured shape, and ultra modern stand. It makes a unique addition to any toy box and can be used in a variety of delightful ways.

Pros:
The comfortable handle.
Cons:
This toy is not thick; size kings and queens need not apply.

extremely useful review
Sugar, ahhhhh honey honey! I knew I had to get my hands and other bits on one of these from the moment I first saw it. Something about its tapered ergonomic design, its own shapely modern acrylic stand, and that it comes in a plethora of unique and fun colors had me daydreaming about its smooth, slick touch.

Sugar Drop Dildo by Soju productions has a modern edge to it that I just love. It's made of medical grade silicone, which means that it's matte, smooth, scentless, and extremely easy to clean. If you like temperature, it holds heat and cold nicely.

On each side of Sugar Drop is a raised bubble detailing that not only looks attractive but titillated my inner labia with delicious and constant sensation during fast or slow thrusting. Externally, the contrast of the bubbles with the smooth silicone shaft feel sensational rubbed teasingly over lips and clit.

I really enjoy this toy's tapered and curved shape. The Sugar Drop Dildo slides in smoothly and quickly with the tiniest amount of lube or wetness. I boast a modestly sized cunt and, as a result, tend to prefer width over length. Not in this case. The curved shaft of the Sugar Drop was actually able to penetrate deeper than I usually manage with straight toys because it followed the curve of my body nice and deep inside.

One thing that proved to be a slight a problem during solo play was the flexibility of the narrow part just before the handle. When trying to angle this dildo to better locate my sweet spots, its stiffer curved shaft continued to penetrate in pretty much the same way. The handle simply flexed to accommodate my adjustment while the Sugar Drop's shaft maintained its internal trajectory. On the other hand, this flexibility was kind of an advantage as well because it allowed me to easily find the most comfortable position for the thrusting hand while maintaining speed and force.

Partner play was incredible. My partner loved having the handle to hold on to, and in his hands, he was able to angle the Sugar and use its narrow tipped end to stroke and probe my g-spot in a variety of squeal-inducing ways.

Overall, I'd say that the Sugar makes a fun and unique addition to my toy box. I find myself reaching for it first when I'm looking for a little fun, and even the sight of it looking sexy on its stand can get me fantasizing about its charms.

I've had my eye on this one, too, but since it didn't vibrate I wasn't sure if I'd like it. They are sooo pretty though -- I love the orange version!

    • I see most of the colors are out of stock - will EF get them in stock by Christmas time?

I finally caved and bought it in green. It then immediately went out of stock. Are these getting discontinued because I can't find them anywhere else!

  • Boiling silicone/metal dildos = safe sharing without condoms?
    • If I boil a silicone or metal dildo -- or an anal plug -- would it then be safe to share with my husband without putting a condom on it? Since we are fluid-bonded, I'd hate to waste the money on condoms (they're not cheap!).

Also, if I use a dildo anally and then boil it, would it be safe to use vaginally without a condom? From what I understand, silicone and steel are completely sterilizable with boiling, but I want to be 100% certain first.

Also, can you boil Pyrex glass to sterilize for sharing? I don't yet have any glass toys -- a mistake that I will soon be rectifying! Using both anally and vaginally, as well as sharing, might be fun.
    • If you're fluid bonded, I don't see the problem. Why do you need to ultra sterilize it if you're already fluid bonded? Normal cleaning should be fine.. I'm not sure I'm getting the question though maybe.

Normally cleaning would not be good enough since I'm concerned about transferring bacteria (E. Coli) after anal insertion to the vagina or transferring bacteria from partner to partner (not usually a problem during vaginal sex since E. Coli is found in the rectum and digestive tract).

I had thought that boiling was sufficient to kill the bacteria on silicone and metal toys, but I read a couple of reviews on EF where the reviewer recommended using a condom on the toy ANYTIME that toys were shared. But I don't see why using a condom on a toy would be necessary after boiling.

Again, I thought boiling sufficiently killed the bacteria and effectively sterilized the toy to be safe for sharing. I assumed "safe for sharing" meant that, once boiled, no condom would be needed. Just wanted to make doubly certain.

I have the Sugar dildo and i like it very much. I'm using it only vaginally. I know this toy can be boiled to sterilize, should I do that every time I use this silicone dildo?

I think 'tis up to you. Soap and water really are probably fine. But if you are particularly concerned, boil away :)
    • It's not necessary to do it every single time, no. I'd say a good scrub with liquid antibacterial soap and warm water, and boiling it maybe every fifth time or so will give you a toy that'll last for years! Remember the water should be at a rolling boil (the bubbles keep the silicone from laying on the very hot bottom of the pot) and you really only need maybe 3 or 4 minutes in the boiling water before it's ok.
