Sweet As Honey

The $30 price tag on the Honey Wand was well worth every penny, even as an experienced/advanced toy user. After use with a less experienced partner, she was ready to get one of her own as well. I find that the simplicity of this toy is really what makes it great.

Use

The Honey Wand is a glass dildo meant for vaginal penetration. It has a VERY slight angle at the phallic tip so that it can hit your G-Spot and 5 small bumps that provide extra stimulation. Glass has no flexibility to it, so be careful when using it for thrusting as it could bruise your cervix. If thrusting isn't your thing, inserting it, finding your spot, and then going to town on your clit with a vibe also works wonders!!

Although the Honey Wand has a slightly flared end, it could easily slip inside during anal play (especially with lubed hands), so I don't recommend trying it out on your bum. The slightly flared, bulbous end is great as a handle when using with a partner, though. It is small enough to stick between two fingers or have your hand around it depending on positioning and personal comfort preferences.

Since this toy is glass, it can also be used for temperature play. If you like cold sensations, throw it in the fridge for a while, or run it under warm water for warm sensations. The longer you expose this toy to a temperature, the longer that temperature will hold to a point; Don't expect hours of warm or cold sensations since your body temperature is probably not the same as the glass at the time of insertion.

Also, because it is glass, you can use it with any type of lube your heart (and vagina) prefers!

You can use the Honey Wand either solo or with a partner.

Material / Texture

The Honey Wand is glass. Glass is firm, unscented and tasteless.

Though, overall, the Honey Wand is smooth, there are 5 small bumps on the Honey Wand which provide extra stimulation without being distracting or overwhelming. They are not so large that they are uncomfortable but not so small that they cannot be felt during use. The head of the toy is slightly bent to hit the G-Spot. The bumps are not intimidating to beginners, but can still be enjoyed by more advanced users. There is no other texture besides the bumps and slight angle.

Glass is considered a 10 on EF's safety scale, meaning it can be shared with a partner and is also hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous and phthalate free. It is easily cleaned via boiling, dishwasher, bleach/water mixture, good ol' soap & water, or toy cleaner. If you decide to try to use it anally, remember to clean properly before using vaginally.

The Honey Wand is made out of borosilicate glass, which means it won't shatter or splinter. Instead, if you happen to break this toy, it will break in chunks or large pieces.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of the Honey Wand is one I thoroughly enjoy. It is about 8.5" long, though the bulbed end makes it so you can only insert 7". Both the tip and the end are clear, while the body/shaft is a dark chocolate brown and white striped. The 5 bumps on the shaft are a transparent honey brown, and are significantly smaller in size/less intimidating than the bumps found on the deep water g.

There is no mistaking this dildo for something it isn't; it is very obviously a dildo. There's no discretion about it! The velvety pouch that this came in is great for storage, though I'd put it in something a bit more padded for travel.

I find that the design of the toy is ideal. It gave my Pink Swirl G a run for it's money in terms of being a preferred toy. The tip is bent just enough that I can hit my G-Spot, and the bumps definitely feel great both when thrusting and positioning it in to stay in one spot.

I think that most users will find this to be an enjoyable size and design.

Performance

The best part about this toy is that it is not limited. It can be used solo both for thrusting and just to leave in. The base is small enough that the toy can be used on a partner while eating her out without hitting your teeth/mouth.

My personal favorite thing about this toy is that it really feels great inside. I can lube it up with whichever lube I want for the night and slide it right in. I can leave it in and move my hips around to really enjoy it or I can thrust it. I've used this with a partner (she also was a fan of it) and didn't find that it was awkward to hold while eating her out.

Care and Maintenance

Glass is very easily cared for! It doesn't collect dust or lint (or cat hair), but wiping it off before use is just a good practice to have with any toy. It can be boiled, run through the dishwasher, hand washed with soap and water, or wiped down with toy cleaner or a bleach/water mixture.

Glass should be stored in a bit of padding, but the Honey Wand comes with a cute velvet draw string bag that is perfect for storage.

The Honey Wand is also fully compatible with any and every lube you prefer!

Experience

This was one of the first toys I purchased after discovering EF, and it has not let me down at all. In fact, it has very quickly become one of my "go to" glass toys next to the Pink Swirl G. I really enjoy both the hot and cool sensations that glass is capable of, but I do find that I don't enjoy this with the Wet Synergy Cool Tingle lube as much as I had hoped I would. When I want cool sensations, I prefer running this under cool water or leaving it in the fridge instead.

I've used this on a female partner who really enjoyed it as well. I didn't thrust too hard since she's not at all experienced with glass toys, but she found it pleasurable both on its own and while I ate her out.
