A cheap solution to a quality dildo, Don Wands seems to make some pleasurable and interesting products. A ribbed shaft and bulb head made of fully weighted glass allows you to experience sensations that normally do not occur while pumping it in and out. Recently, I discovered that my favorite anal toys are glass dildos due to their attributes of changing temperature and weighted design, which both help enhance orgasm as well as strengthen PC muscles. I found that I prefer glass/solid material dildos for anal play (surprisingly even more than some Tantus silicone products), so this ribbed dildo was next on my list. By the way, the real name of this dildo is called Cobalt Blue Magnificent.
It arrives in a nice circular, “display-like” package which is a little oversized, but provides a nice view of the product and its large, protective pillow bag. Removing it requires separating the plastic where the staples are. The only complaint at this point would have to be the bag, which seems a little over-sized, and has an odd “factory” scent, yet I can deal with both since it provides superior padding.
After removing it, I proceeded to clean up and try it out. Even though I have used 2 glass dildos before, this was a totally new experience from its design. When you are first inserting it into your butt (or vagina) you will notice the nice curved, rounded, and smooth head that ‘pops’ in and provides some interesting feelings.
This next part had me worrying a little, which was the ribbed shaft, since I tend to not always enjoy textured objects on the sphincter. I judged too soon, though, because the sensation was amazing! In fact this was the first dildo I have been able to “pump” opposed to wiggling and twirling, which is what I tend to do most. The ribbed shaft makes it feel little ripples simulating all your nerve endings in harmony. Quite an orgasm aid indeed!
I only wish it stood up straight a little more (has a slight lean), so just be careful to not place it on a hard surface where it could fall and break. To compare (in my opinion): this dildo feels better than Aneros Progasm and Tantus Daddy.

The swirled glass dildo was the first glass toy I bought, and my introduction to anal toys as well.
This has become one of my favourite toys in my Toy Trunk, because it is just perfect. From the fat head to the base and everywhere in between.
If you are looking for your first glass toy... this is the one I would strongly recommend!!!

Not Getting the Extended Review Template

I recently purchased this and I was starting my review just now and it won't let me use the extended review template. Looking at the other reviews I see I am not the only person who this happened to, well more than likely since I'm not seeing the extended template used. Does anyone know why? It isn't a huge deal, I'm just curious.

What do you think the deal is with the WIDE pricing for glass toys?
They are all the same material obviously and some are fancier than others but sometimes two can look exactly the same and be a difference of $200.
I recently bought TWO glass toys for a total of $20 and that included shipping. -
It's mostly a question of process (how decorated is the toy, how complex is it to make the decoration, is it handmade, where is it made), but at the extreme low end there is a bit of material difference - tempered soda/lime glass vs. borosilicate glass.

I'd wanted a glass toy for a long time and didn't want to shell out the big bucks for it. I spent about $28 dollars for a similar toy to the one you linked. It's fabulous.

Please don't post duplicate threads on the forums.
The deal with it is that they are made by different manufacturers, and the cost varies widely. Some are hand blown, others are not. Some even contain gold dust. If you look at the Properties tab, you will find that not all glass is alike or equal. That would be like saying every metal dildo or toy is the same - it's just not that simple. -
Also, as some sex toy reviewers are unfortunately finding out, some toys are actually not 100% glass. Some companies fill their toys with water so that they remain "glassy" looking, but don't require as much material.

Yea, out of all of my glass toys I have tired, the Don Wand ones seem to be the only ones that provide a padded corded bag. Although perhaps some of the higher end glass toys come with protection cases as well. Like I said, I wish these pouches smelled more arousing like perhaps some fake berry scent would be nice, yet I guess I can deal with the "plasticy scent" for the superior soft protection they provide.

I know, all Don Wands products come at an excellent price for glass. I found more of these on amazon for like $30. It is way cheaper than Phallix products, and sometimes I wonder if you are just paying for the "name" compared to these (which both seem very sturdy). I know Phallix claims their glass is the only one to trust for not breaking, but I would have to say these are just as good. Plus they come with a good padded case/bag and with a sample lube of Wet (Silicone lube).

Yes, sorry about that, it was months ago when I did this review before the Vroom & Bee rule was implemented.
I used Vroom as sensation and Bee as the amt of noise it creates when lubed up and playing with it. (probably should have been less)

Because clear glass is more visually appealing than one which cannot be seen through.
