Swirled Sensations!
A glass toy is an amazing experience and this model is no exception. The swirls and bulbous head of this wand felt amazing! I would not chance anything about this product.Published: March 9, 2009

I was so excited to buy a glass toy! I really was not sure how I would like one especially since it does not vibrate so I decided to opt for a less expensive model.
First thing I thought when I pulled the glass Blue Swirled Dildo by Don Wands out of its plush and padded sleeve was that the wand was SO pretty! I have never had a toy that looked so aesthetically pleasing. It felt heavy in the palm of my hand and very well made. I ran the swirls through my fingers and my mind started racing!
I propped myself up with a pillow for easier insertion. The experience was amazing. I could not have ever imagined it feeling the way it did. The bulb at the end of the wand is just the right size that it could pop in and out of me which created a unique sensation. The swirled ribs felt amazing sliding in and out. My walls gripped each ripple in a delicious way. The size of the toy is perfect and I wouldn’t change anything about its construction or dimensions.
I noticed fairly soon that the glass was holding my warm temperature. This is an awesome advantage to glass toys. They can be placed in warm or cold water prior to play. The glass holds that temperature. When I used it room temperature after it had just been sitting in my drawer it left a slightly cold sensation which gave me goose bumps. I loved this surprise!
It is so easy to clean. It can even be put through a dish washer, cleaning can’t get any easier than that. Also glass toys don’t degrade with time or use. Any lubrication can be used with it. I suggest a silicone lubricant though, but to be honest I did not need lubrication this toy went in very smoothly.
This toy is a great value! Some glass items can be in the three hundreds and I am here to say that you don’t need to spend that much to have an amazing glass addition to your collection. Even though this Don Wand is only $25, it is crafted in such a way that I feel luxurious while using it!
This toy deserves five stars without any hesitation.

I still love this toy! I used it with my boyfriend recently, and allowed him to use it on me. I have decided that this is more of a solo toy. He is very skilled sexually, and even he was hurting me at times by hitting my pubic bone. Since the material is glass, the hardness makes it more likely to hurt if not inserted perfectly. I still love this, just have to put it in the solo pile and don't plan on let someone else use it on me again.

Best without the hefty price tag.

The swirled glass dildo was the first glass toy I bought, and my introduction to anal toys as well.
This has become one of my favourite toys in my Toy Trunk, because it is just perfect. From the fat head to the base and everywhere in between.
If you are looking for your first glass toy... this is the one I would strongly recommend!!!

Not Getting the Extended Review Template

I recently purchased this and I was starting my review just now and it won't let me use the extended review template. Looking at the other reviews I see I am not the only person who this happened to, well more than likely since I'm not seeing the extended template used. Does anyone know why? It isn't a huge deal, I'm just curious.

What do you think the deal is with the WIDE pricing for glass toys?
They are all the same material obviously and some are fancier than others but sometimes two can look exactly the same and be a difference of $200.
I recently bought TWO glass toys for a total of $20 and that included shipping. -
It's mostly a question of process (how decorated is the toy, how complex is it to make the decoration, is it handmade, where is it made), but at the extreme low end there is a bit of material difference - tempered soda/lime glass vs. borosilicate glass.

I'd wanted a glass toy for a long time and didn't want to shell out the big bucks for it. I spent about $28 dollars for a similar toy to the one you linked. It's fabulous.

Please don't post duplicate threads on the forums.
The deal with it is that they are made by different manufacturers, and the cost varies widely. Some are hand blown, others are not. Some even contain gold dust. If you look at the Properties tab, you will find that not all glass is alike or equal. That would be like saying every metal dildo or toy is the same - it's just not that simple. -
Also, as some sex toy reviewers are unfortunately finding out, some toys are actually not 100% glass. Some companies fill their toys with water so that they remain "glassy" looking, but don't require as much material.
