Swirling in Pleasure

The Blue Glass G, while not as gorgeous as the picture when in person, is still a very beautiful toy. The curve didn't hit my g-spot, but it was still a pleasure to use.

extremely useful review
The Blue Swirl G is an SSA glass dildo. It's about eight inches long and at the largest point has the diameter of a little over an inch. The dildo is made from Pyrex Glass which is more safe than regular glass alternatives. The glass dildo does come with a bit of a flared base, but it's not enough of a base to use it very comfortably in most harnesses when coupled with the weight of glass.

SSA Glass seems to have changed their storage pouches that are included with the toy. The SSA Glass dildos used to include pouches that matched the EdenFantasys pouches here on EF. Now it's a little, tiny pouch with even less padding. The pouch will keep the dildo safe from any sort of scratches or fingerprints, but it's not going to protect the dildo - at all - if it's dropped. The pouch is just a sewn-together piece of velvet with a bit of a drawstring at the top of the pouch. The drawstring is frustrating, but it does close the pouch enough to keep the dildo from coming out. You do have the knot the string, though, or the pouch just reopens right away. This is a definite downgrade from the old bags included with the dildos. No instructions are included with this dildo; it's just the storage pouch. The storage pouch is also more of a dark maroon rather than the Christmas-Red that the EF picture looks like.

I've taken a love to glass dildos lately. Really. I really dislike penetration by toys most of the time - especially if it's silicone or any material that produces a drag. However, with glass, I've found that it's so much easier for insertion just because of the smooth texture. It requires little (if any) lubrication and will insert very comfortably even if the diameter is large. This is a huge change from silicone toys where, even with a small diameter, insertion can be uncomfortable. For this reason, I've been stalking out all of the glass and ceramic toys here on EF.

This dildo caught my attention because of the gorgeous swirling pattern along the body of the dildo. I will say that, unless you keep this toy in full sunlight with a white background, this toy will never be quite as beautiful as the EF picture. However, the EF picture is an accurate representation. The toy does have those gorgeous swirls all over the body of it. However, because of lighting and the fact that the inside of the toy is clear instead of white, it will rarely show up as nicely as in the EF picture.

Pyrex Glass is nice and sturdy. If dropped, Pyrex breaks into large chunks instead of shattering. Using a glass sex toy is actually pretty safe; the material is hard to break unless you drop it onto concrete or something. Glass works well for temperature play (Or nonconsensual temperature play which is what I had when I first opened this dildo up; the outside world is COLD out there.) if dipped into warm water or cool water. It also requires little, if any, lubrication for insertion since it's so nice and smooth. Glass is also extremely rigid and will not bend to accommodate your body - not even a little bit. This is the feature that makes most glass toys perfect for g-spot stimulation.

The Blue Swirl G does have a bit of a curve intended to hit the g-spot. While insertion was smooth and the toy was pleasurable, I felt like it was lacking in g-spot pleasure. (Then again, my g-spot hates most toys intended for g-spot pleasure) Unless I angled it really uncomfortably, it didn't hit my g-spot at all. The curve was pleasurable, but it just didn't hit my g-spot like I really was hoping for. I enjoyed the smooth insertion of the toy, and it doesn't have any texture to it. The size of the toy is a bit larger at the head of the dildo, but it isn't a pronounced head nor something that will get caught on your pubic bone. I just wish the toy had a more pronounced curve since then it would hit my g-spot. The little flared base does make it pretty easy to grasp during use - even if your hand is lubricated.
Experience
To clean this toy, you just need some warm water and antibacterial soap. Since it's non-porous, it can be boiled if you want to share it between partners or anally and vaginally. The flared base, while not huge, will make this anal safe. It's compatible with all lubricants. It can be stored in the pouch it comes in, but I recommend investing in a more padded pouch. Because of the unique, hand-crafted make of glass, your toy may differ slightly from the printed measurements. For example, my flared base it at least 3/8 larger in diameter than the toy in the picture.

The Blue Glass G is a good glass dildo, but it just wasn't a dildo that hit my g-spot. However, it's still a quality toy that I'd recommend for anyone. The pouch isn't exactly what I was expecting, and the toy doesn't look quite as gorgeous in regular-house lighting, but it's still a strong, quality glass toy for an amazingly ridiculously affordable price.
