The Blue Swirl from SSA Glass is a swirled dildo made entirely of borosilicate glass. The dildo is straight, but the large teardrop head will have no trouble reaching the G-spot. The base is nicely flared, so if you are interested in using it anally, you could.

This glass is very solid, and won’t break apart on you during normal use. However, if it does break, it will break up into large chunks instead of shatter. The toy should be examined before every use for any chips or cracks. If you discover any, throw it away immediately.

The head of the dildo is smooth, and there are many little swirled blue lines around the entire shaft of the dildo. The swirls can be felt, but the texture is very light. The ridges won’t grab or dig in to your skin.

The swirls on mine aren’t completely even, but that doesn’t take away the appeal from this toy. Some of the swirls are flattened, a couple of them run out before reaching the base, and some are wider than others, but it is still really pretty, and these flaws are not very noticeable. The head on mine is pointy, almost like a flower bud that hasn’t bloomed yet.

The design is very pretty, and just a pleasure to hold and grope. the glass swirling around the shaft is beautiful. The toy looks like a dildo, so you may not be able to get away with putting it on display, although it is beautiful enough to do so.

The size will be a nice fit for most users. The toy is 6 5/8” in length, with an insertable length of 6 ¼”. The shaft is 3 3/4 “ in circumference, with a head 4 ¼” in circumference. Each piece is individually hand blown so your measurements may be different from mine.

Glass is wonderful because it holds temperatures very well. Place it under warm water, or in a bowl of ice water for some delightful fun. Even using your own body heat to warm it up is fine too. Just be sure to not place it in the microwave or freezer because that can be the end of your glass toy since those temperatures are too extreme.

The little ridges feel great internally. The swirls are stimulating, but not overwhelming, meaning you can use it for a long time without feeling like you need to use something with less texture. Even though this is not a G-spot toy since there’s no curve, the head is significantly larger than the shaft, and it can be angled quite easily to reach the areas you want to stimulate.

Glass is very easy to clean because you can clean it in any way you please. Just be sure to clean the crevices thoroughly because fluids can collect there. An old toothbrush will work perfectly for this purpose. If washing it with soap and water, it would be wise to place a wash cloth at the bottom of the sink because glass becomes very slippery when wet. You can also boil it for a few minutes, wipe it down with a bleech solution, or run it through the dishwasher.

All lubricants are compatible with glass, and a tiny drop goes a long way since glass is extremely slick. It comes with a velvet pouch which will not protect it if it falls since it is not padded, but it will keep it from clinking against other glass toys.

I love to use the Blue Swirl as a Kegel exerciser. I know it sounds strange, but it works perfectly for me as one. I won’t use most vaginal exercisers because my vaginal canal is already quite narrow, and most of them aren’t weighted enough. The dildo is very slick, but the ridges provide enough texture for me to grip onto, and it is heavy enough that it gives me a good challenge. It still works wonderfully as a regular dildo, I just like the fact that I can use it in other ways. The Blue Swirl is not only a wonderfully functional toy but also a delight to look at and let’s not forget that it’s also very reasonably priced considering you have a friend for life.
