Tex VixSkin - realistic dildo discontinued by Vixen Creations, Inc - review by catsin

Tex is my harnesses favorite companion! The base is perfect for staying snug in my harness (the La Femme) and the Vixskin is super soft. I find I only need a touch of lube to get things started and it's better than cyberskin since it can be boiled and easily sanitized! Don't use silicone lube, water based is best for keeping Tex intact! Also he's tasteless and odorless for oral play and works just as well without the harness.

The firm core is surrounded by the thick resilient outer layer, thus it stays hard and flexible without being too rigid or stiff. The slight bend in him is perfect for reaching G or P spots, and the flexibility allows for maneuvering in a variety of positions. He's a tad on the short and thin side, which is preferable for me, but if you like to be stuffed to the brim or if your strap-on has a lot of padding this might not be the best choice for you. The skin coloring matches decently with my own and the ridges provide that realistic appeal without being overly detailed as some dildos are! Also, the bulbous head gives a nice tugging sensation during play.

It looks much shinier in the product picture than it does in my bedroom lighting--I think it has a plastic look in the pic that it doesn't actually have (thankfully). Tex comes packaged in a durable plastic tube with lid, which I've kept for safe storage. He seems to attract residue if you keep him out and about, so I recommend storing him directly after sanitizing. He's kept up well with my busy play over the past couple years and shows minimal wear--a few minor stretches in the skin are noticeable after all this time, but nothing too noticeable or preventive of me using him.
