This is a very beautiful toy. It is very pale pink, glass, and is incredibly designed. That being said, it's probably going to be retired to a place on my shelf as an art piece because it wasn't as functional as I had imagined.

In my mind, it was going to make me feel extra kinky, knowing I had a tentacle made of glass doing naughty things to my body---just like in those movies. Plus, when I was branching out from normal, I figured I would eventually end up with a tentacle in my collection. As I held this glass beauty in my hand, I anticipated a powerfully perverted orgasm.

First Try:
I'm pretty sure it was my body that was incompatible with this toy. I had never had a toy with so many nubs before so this was definitely a new experience for my nether regions. I started off slowly, but felt the bumps immediately. I thought perhaps once they were inside the effect would be lessened, but I was wrong. Because there are nubs all along one side of this toy, there was no escaping them.

Trying to give the toy a chance, I withdrew it and rubbed the bottom, less nubby part against my clit. That felt pretty nice and not so extreme. I flipped it over to see if the nubs would do anything on my clit and again, it was just too much. I did manage to get off by rubbing the side with the veiny texture on it over my clit, but it wasn't a very intense orgasm.

Second Try:
I tried it with regular water-based lube but the nub effect was the same. I tried flipping it over so the nubs were in a different spot but alas, no change. I stopped before I did myself damage. (You can use any lube with this toy, but water-based is my favorite.)

Some details:
The nubs are all about the same size - 1/4 inch tall, 3/8 inch long, and 3/8 inch wide. This may not sound like much but when you have 20 of them (about the amount on the insertable length) rubbing sensitive parts, you'll feel how big they actually are. Because of the design, it's hard to get an accurate circumference, but with the nubs it's about five inches with the space for the groove included. It is a little more than one inch thick and not quite two inches wide, which really seemed reasonable to me. The detail on the underside isn't measurable because it's so slight; there are just small ridges that remind me of the veins in a leaf. You can feel them with your fingers but they're not raised more than just a smidge. From my measurements (which were difficult for this part) they look to not even be 1/8 inch high.

Warning:
The non-insertable end has a gap where the loop ends. I would not insert the handle / loop end due to this. It looks as though it might catch skin or get stuck and cause damage.

Cleaning and Maintenance:
There is a groove along the middle that is something you might have to pay attention to when cleaning. I just used water and let it air dry, but I did have to make sure I rubbed in between the nubs and down that groove. I would suggest using a sterilization method (it can be cleaned in the dishwasher!) like boiling to make sure you get all the crevasses clean.

Overall:
This is one for the folks who like textures and not for us smoothie-folks. It was just a little over-the-top for me. It does hold heat and cold well, like other glass dildos, so perhaps later I may try it for things other than penetration. It can be used anywhere but if you use it in a pool or a tub, beware because it does happen to be glass.
