Icicles No. 24 - dildo by Pipedream - review by Waterfall

This is one glass toy that I found I could really justify buying because it is not like anything else that I own. Icicles No. 24, or The Glass Tongue in my opinion, works well for vaginal and g-spot stimulation and external stimulation all over the body. If you use this with a partner who has a good hold on the handle then it could be used for anal, but personally I was not brave enough to try this anally because of the texture.

Icicles No. 24 comes packaged in a really pretty box that has nice pictures of the toy and some information about glass. Although the toy is shown all over the box, I feel like it is done in a very tasteful way and it makes it "ok" for gift giving. There is a flap that opens and allows you to view the actual toy. It is encased in thick foam that offers great protection, so I store mine in the original box.

Pyrex glass is completely non porous which means it can be sterilized, with a 10 % bleach solution or put in the dish washer, so that you can share your toy with partners. It can easily be cleaned with soap and water or toy cleaner during the times when you don't need to sterilize it. There are also no harmful chemicals or components that may cause a problem for those with sensitivities. Glass is also great for holding temperatures whether that be hot or cold. You can do this by putting your toy in cold or warm water, but sometimes if I want my toy really cold I put it in the fridge for a little bit. It seems like I can feel the texture even more when this one is cold which I really like. Cold nubs rubbing on my clit is my favorite way to warm up with this toy.

In regards to size I would say this one is fairly average. It is a total of about 6 inches, with 4.5 insertable. I like this because I can thrust without the fear that I will hit my cervix. It has a diameter of 1.5 inches, but doesn't feel as big to me because the circumference is only 4.5 inches. It weighs 10 oz, so it is not overly heavy and can be moved around without straining your wrists, but you will know that it is inside of you.

Although the Icicles No. 24 has dozens of bumps that run up and down the sides of the toy, it still reminds me of a tongue. The nubs are larger than those on some of my other toys, for example the Rainbow G. I like larger nubs because they do not make you feel irritated if you thrust quickly. The underside of it is even textured in a way that kind of looks like the tongue of some creature (maybe not a human) with squiggly lines. Even the sides of this one have some ridges to offer additional texture. With all of this being said, if you don't like texture this one may not be for you. The shape of this toy also feels different than others which makes it even more unique.
