The G-Ami is part of Cal Exotics L'Amour line. It is listed as a silicone probe, but the "G" in the name leads one to believe that it is designed for g-spotting. It can also be used for p-spot stimulation, which may be a better use of this. Unless, of course you are very new to vaginal toys, in which case, the petite toy may be okay for you. This would also make a great beginning anal toy for men or women. Either way, if you're looking for a firm toy for stimulation, you may want to look elsewhere.

This can be used solo or with a partner. If using this anally, please make sure you or a partner has control of the pull ring at all times.

The G-Ami is made of 100% silicone. This probe is velvety smooth and pliable and soft. It's not plush, necessarily, but it is flexible. The silicone is awesome and is a great material and texture for both beginning and advanced users.

It did have a the same odor that all silicone has, but you can only detect it when you shove your nose right up to it. Nothing potent or off-putting. It does tend to collect lint, as silicone does, so a quick rinse or wipe down is probably wise before you use it.

The G-Ami is petite. The measurements on the product page are correct, so it is small enough to carry around discreetly. This probe is curvy and smooth and has a decently designed bulb on the end that is supposed to hit the sweet spots. The part that enters the rectum is about as long as my middle finger. If you wanted to use this vaginally, it really would serve little purpose unless, as mentioned above, a finger is all you're used to. However, the probe is rather flexible in the center, so getting a good pressure on your G-spot would be difficult at best, if something so small even reaches.

As far as discretion is concerned, it is small and, therefore, easy to hide. However, it would be hard to pass off as anything but some sort of sex toy.

The best use for the G-Ami is as an anal probe. This was tested vaginally but it was quickly passed over for something with more, well everything. The girth is basically nonexistent. It is too short and flexible to get a good hook into the G-spot. However, anally, this has a little more to offer. The pull ring makes controlling the probe easy and while the pressure wasn't stupendous, it still got the job done. The unimposing size of this probe makes it very nonthreatening for a beginning anal user.

The great thing about the G-Ami is the care. Since it is pure silicone, this can be shared if you're willing to take the extra time to care for it. You can disinfect it, and thus make it suitable for sharing, by boiling this, running it through the dishwasher, or spraying it down with a 10% bleach solution. If you are sharing with a trusted disease-free partner, or if you are not planning on sharing this at all, a scrub down with your favorite toy cleaner and warm water will do just fine for cleaning. You can put a condom over it to share it, but you would have trouble keeping the condom on and having control of the pull ring as the probe is so petite. If you do decide to use this anally, lube up with water based lubes only. The silicone will deteriorate with silicone lube which also means that you will want to use a non-lubricated condom with this toy. A sandwich baggie will do fine for storage, or you can use the box it came in.

For myself, this was basically useless. It's so small, slender, and flexible that it just doesn't do anything for me. I did not try this anally, but I'm not opposed to trying it.

For My Mr, this probe was much more successful! He's on the beginner end of being an intermediate anal toy user and has wanted to try milking the prostate for quite some time. While this would not be the ideal toy for that purpose, he did enjoy the p-spot stimulation this toy gave him. If Cal Ex were to make this a little firmer it would have been a fantastic toy for him! I'll probably try holding a bullet against it the next time we use it to see if vibrations carry through as My Mr really likes vibration on his p-spot.
