extremely useful review
Of all the cocks I've owned, this is my go-to guy. Life just wouldn't be the same without that smiling face.

The major selling point, the "pack and play" capability, is hardly the only reason to love Silky's flexibility. I've used plenty of cocks that stand straight up or with only a slight curve - so when strapped on they are at basically a 90 degree angle, like they're at half mast. With Silky you can curve at any angle, so you can achieve many more positions and adjust to hit your partner's g-spot perfectly. Plus there's that huge tip and subtle ridges that really put it over the top sensation wise, or so I've been told. The thick base provides nice stability and cushioning for the wearer.

Now the downside - Silky is breakable. Take some time to get a feel for him and always bend him slowly with care, even when you're in the middle of things. But even with proper caution, he's bound to go out with a bang someday. At this price point, I don't mind replacing him once every couple of years. But you don't want to be caught with your cock down, so I would either stock up or have a silicone backup. Even after he breaks, he's still good for blowjobs.

Materials wise, it's a trade off; Silky is elastomer, porous, and can't be sterilized. So condoms condoms condoms and be aware that some fluid will still probably come in contact with the base of the toy (which is why I use him for vaginal but not anal). On the plus side, he is more realistic feeling than any of the silicone toys I've used, and after a nice cornstarch bath nobody can keep their hands off him. He's thick and firm but not so hard as to be uncomfortable, still squeezable and similar to flesh.

The color options could be a lot better- Silky used to come in black, which was awesome and has since been discontinued. Now the color options are blue and pink, but the blue is basically purple. I would love to see the black make a comeback.

Also, even though he's not pure silicone, we tested on the back of the base and silicone lube is indeed an enemy of Silky. Stick with water based.
Experience
So I was bending Silky every which way long before I ever packed him along, but man was I glad when I did. This one is prepared for adventure- clubbing, nature hikes, play parties- you name it. You will need a harness or some kind of support system besides underwear; the big shaft and no balls means there is nothing to balance him towards your body. Not the most discreet of packers, I wouldn't wear tight, light-colored pants unless a serious bulge is what you're going for. Comfortable enough to wear for significant amounts of time, but not for everyday 24/7 wear. You'll never forget he's there, and be wary about not putting pressure on the spine. Don't straddle fences, don't get too crazy grinding on the dance floor, etc.
Follow-up commentary
A couple things I have noticed after comparing my new Silky with an older model:

First, Silky has gotten bigger over the years. The increase is about an inch in insertable length and an inch in circumference at the thickest point. I was kind of shocked when I held them side by side, especially the difference in the heads. If I was replacing an older Silky, this is something I would definitely want to know.

Second, Silky seems to develop a preferred lean over time. All of my Silkys seem to have a bias towards the position they are stored in. After noticing this, I am more careful about storing them in the position I'd want them in most often, the upward curve. For packing, I don't bend it down anymore, but rather just turn the whole thing upside down instead. If it's going to get biased towards any position, it better be the right one.

Glad to hear this is such a great "pack-and-play" toy. There sure seems to be a lack of those around...

Excellent review, thanks for really describing the texture and feel. It's always good to hear a long-term impression of a dildo, so it's good to know that this one keeps you coming back (even if it's no longer black).
