The Tentacle, as this toy is commonly referred to, is the toy for when you want something a little different. It doesn't look like other toys. It doesn't feel like other toys. It actually feels much better than you would expect.

It works both as a G-spot toy and as an all-over massager.

The Tentacle is made of pyrex glass. It has prominent nubs all along its length. Those averse to texture will probably not appreciate this toy except for its beauty. Those who find that the nubs are too much for them can always insert it nubs down for a less intense experience.

Two rows of prominent nubs run along the Tentacle's length. The Tentacle curves with no straight section. The nubs cover the entire length of one side. On the larger part of other, smoother, side is a more subtle texture. So either way you use it there is at least some texture to be felt. Even the sides have texture with several ribbons of glass curling around the sides.

The tentacle's cross section is roughly oval, not round like most other toys. This only adds to the unique sensations this toy brings.

This toy's unusual curvy shape allows you to use it in more varied ways than most glass toys. Insert it nubs up or nubs down or even use it as a massage tool on the rest of your body.

I didn't know what to expect from the tentacle. I have some tolerance (and enjoyment) of texture, but that tolerance only goes so far. While some toys are too much for me, the tentacle isn't. It feels surprisingly good.

While for most glass toys, I don't need to use lube, I find that I do need lube for the tentacle. But lube isn't as easy to apply to this toy. With other toys I can apply some lube to the toy, then spread it around by rubbing the toy on myself. That won't work with the tentacle. It requires one hand to spread the lube since you'll want the nubs, sides and bottom coated. A minor inconvenience.

The only issue I have with the tentacle is that, since I want the nubs to massage my G-spot and the tentacle has no handle, it can be a strain to position it so the curl that you hold onto is far enough down. You are forced to hold your hand, and the curl of the tentacle, down further than you would with other toys. This potential problem is worsened if the tentacle becomes wet. With no real handle, the extra slipperiness can make maintaining a firm grip a challenge.

Occasionally I find that when I first insert the tentacle it hurts a bit. This only happens however if I've angled the curled end up to much. A quick downward adjustment of the tentacle's angle solves that problem.

The tentacle can be inserted nubs down as well. This way, only the mildly textured side is rubbing against your G-spot. This position also allows you to rub the curl of the tentacle against your clitoris or labia. I tried the tentacle this way, but didn't find it to feel nearly as nice as using it nubs up.

You can also use the tentacle for body massage, rubbing any part of the tentacle it along your or your partner's body.

The Tentacle is made of easy care pyrex glass. It does have many nubs, curves and grooves to clean, but its still straightforward to wash and towel dry after use.

Any lube is appropriate to use with this toy.

It comes packaged like the rest of the icicles line - nestled in a form fitting cutout in a styrofoam block that fits inside a sturdy box. It doesn't come with a storage pouch. I use the packaging it came with for storage.
