The Raquel

useful review
I would definitely recommend this toy, whether for solo or with a partner. However, from my experience, it was not the best for anal play.
Pros:
Non-porous, harness compatible, realistic feeling.
Cons:
Collects lint/hair/fuzz easily.
I was excited to review the Raquel dildo. I felt like a kid at Christmas when the UPS man knocked on my door with my packages. With the dildo I also ordered the Jaguar harness, to be used at a later date.
The dildo comes packed in a cylinder type see through box with pop off lids on the bottom and top. The lid was a little hard to remove, and a little hard to replace. You have to open and close at just the right angle.
When I finally managed to get the dildo from the package, I noticed the feel. It feels pretty darn similar to the real thing. I did notice that it was sticky. Sticky in a way that makes you need to be careful of the toy collecting lint, hair, or anything else, because it will do so easily.
Because this dildo is silicone, cleaning is very easy, and can be done several different ways. You can do this by either putting it in the dishwasher (top shelf, no soap), Boiling for three minutes, wiping down with a ten-percent bleach solution, or just plain old soap and warm water. As for drying, I learned it is best to let this toy drip dry/air dry because everything I used to try to wipe it dry made the dildo collect lint and fuzz.
As for using the The Raquel solo, I love it. I found it easy to move in and out of my pussy while playing with my clit. The thickness was just right for me, though for some it may seem too big at the top and not big enough along the base.
Unfortunately I have not had a chance to use this dildo in my strap on, though wearing it is very comfortable, especially with the Jaguar. I did however try to use this toy anally with a friend, but it was a failed attempt because it would just not go in. It seemed that this was because the dildo is very flexible. However, vaginally feels amazing, for me at least.
Also, because this toy is silicone, be sure to only use water-based lubes with it.
