The Sedeux Flare is a great all-purpose dildo. It goes just about anywhere, provided that its user minds the "Order of Orifices" rule. The sleek, silicone body of the Sedeux Flare can be used for oral foreplay, clitoral stimulation, anal play and of course vaginal stimulation. Due to the manageable size and material of this toy, I believe it to be suitable for people of all experience levels. Lovers of girth, length and vibration might need to look elsewhere. While the Sedeux Flare isn't small, it is modestly sized in comparison to some toys. It has no moving parts to wear out, no batteries to go dead and makes a minimal amount of noise. It couldn't be any simpler, but don't let this fool you. The Sedeux Flare doesn't need any of this to be fantastic.

With uses abound, it is no surprise that this dildo performs better at some functions than others. The unnaturally smooth and texturally bland surface of the Sedeux Flare made for mediocre oral and clitoral experiences; however, these very characteristics made a top notch anal and vaginal toy. My absolute favorite use for the Sedeux Flare is a passive, vaginal approach. Inserting the toy with a small amount of lube (so that it mostly stays inserted by itself) and leaving it to gently press and stretch while you do something else is amazing. Once you are good and ready to continue, any combination of thrusting, twisting or holding of the dildo is pleasurable. The secret is the carefully arched form of the Sedeux Flare and the subtly flared tip that it is named for. Perhaps it is just that my anatomy and it get along particularly well but, in my opinion, Sportsheets could not have produced a shape more suited for naturally pressing all the right places.

As an anal toy, I found the Sedeux Flare a little too large in circumference for frequent and comfortable use, although I still use it for this purpose. I'll leave it up to you to decide if this toy is beyond or below your tolerances. Other than my personal preferences in size, the Sedeux Flare is a great anal dildo. The silicone is molded with care and I forget that there is even a base on the toy. The Sedeux Flare does not function as a butt plug though. It has no narrowed neck so it will slip out if not held in place. While I have found the flared base to be adequate for keeping the toy outside of myself during anal use, I cannot say that this will be true for everyone. Always be aware of the size of your toy's base flare and maintain safe anal practices with toys.

I am in love with the high-quality silicone of the Sedeux Flare. It looks exactly like the product page pictures. It is food grade, hypoallergenic, latex-free, nonporous and pthalate free for a comfortable experience for every user. The texture is smooth with the slightest bit of natural drag. I really enjoy how well made the toy is. From the lack of bubbles in the material to the soft edges of the base, the Sedeux Flare is a product that Sportsheets put time and effort into. The form of the toy is wonderfully flexible, strong, and plushy while not being rigid, hard or sharp. When I say flexible, I mean that the Sedeux Flare can nearly be folded over itself in half. I say nearly because it offers a lot of resistance at that angle but it is no worse for the wear. While extremely flexible lengthwise, the silicone has only some width-wise give and does not compress much if pinched. As a dildo, the Sedeux Flare is an attractive toy. The swirled red color of the silicone material is pleasing to the eye while also being tasteless, odorless and amazingly simple to maintain.

The surprisingly simple design of the Sedeux Flare is genius. The body of the Sedeux Flare is gently angled and of a constant width of 3 and 3/4" from start to finish. Shortly after the bend in the body, the dildo flares subtly into a bulbous tip of 4" in circumference for a total insertable length of approximately 5 and 1/4". This tip is even with the body on one side and thicker on the other for a natural corona effect. I believe the bulb of the Sedeux Flare was created with the idea of G-spot stimulation in mind. While the G-spot is not typically five inches into the vaginal canal, when the bulbous tip of the Sedeux Flare is aligned so that its leading edge faces the front of the body, it comes into delightful contact with the G-spot. Everyone's anatomy is different and your mileage may vary, but my anatomy and the Sedeux Flare are good friends.

After the business end, the Sedeux Flare features a delicately sloped base of approximately 2.5 inches in diameter for an extremely comfortable experience. The edges of the base where the toy terminates are soft and well molded. At first glance, I thought maybe the base had a suction cup but, to clear up any possible confusion, this toy does not have a suction cup base. There is a small defect at the tip of the dildo where it was removed from the mold but it is purely aesthetic. Other than the tiny mold mark, which was mildly annoying for how well made the toy is, I cannot think of anything I would change about the Sedeux Flare.

Although the size and design are great, the Sedeux Flare was not made to be realistic, nor discreet. There is absolutely no way that anyone even remotely familiar with sex toys could mistake the Sedeux Flare for anything else. However, while it is not discreet at all, it is tasteful and low key. I would not display this in my living room as art though.

The Sedeux Flare's best attribute has to be its awesome design. For me, its high level of performance is directly related to the shape and texture of the dildo. The Sedeux Flare manages a perfect balance when it comes to rigidness, size, flexibility, and curve. My favorite part of this toy's design has to be the gentle angle of the dildo body, but the slight flare in the tip is a close second. There is so much I like about the Sedeux Flare that it is hard to say what I do not like. My only gripe with it is maybe the tiny defect in the silicone on the tip; however, even this imperfection does not sway my opinion of the toy. The mark made from the toy's creation was slightly disappointing due to the otherwise high quality of the product. Honestly though, the mark does not affect the function or comfort of the Sedeux Flare at all.

The Sedeux Flare is also harness compatible. While I did not really get to test out how well it worked in a harness, the base seems like it would be very comfortable. For those of you that use or are interested in harnesses, just the fact that the Sedeux Flare is compatible with them is a plus. Hopefully, someone else can chime in on the Sedeux Flare as it performs in a harness.

Due to its simple design and quality material, the Sedeux Flare is amazingly easy to clean and maintain. This toy is 100% silicone and free of hard to clean crannies. While the material can pick up a minor amount of dust and lint, I would not call it a lint magnet. To clean the Sedeux Flare, just wash the toy with antibacterial soap and water or an appropriate toy cleaner. Other suitable methods include washing with a bleach solution, boiling for a short time, and washing in the top rack of the dish washer without soap. To store, just place the Sedeux Flare out of the way of harm, dust and other toys (to be on the safe side).

Silicone is a great dildo material because it is hygienic, easy to clean and durable, but it does have its downfalls. Silicone toys cannot be used with silicone lubricants. Please use only water-based lubricants with the Sedeux Flare. I imagine you could use oil-based lubricants as well, but they are not very appropriate for internal use.

I love the Flare; it's probably my favorite, or almost favorite, toy. The Flare is a part of nearly all of my toy play, vaginal and anal. I am sure that I will use it until it's used up and that doesn't look to be soon. I use the Flare for teasing, warming-up and the main attraction. Its versatility and comfortableness make it a great toy for long sessions. I frequently fall asleep wearing it and never have issues with irritation. I love the seam-free design and the sleek texture. Sometimes the smooth texture isn't as stimulating as a ridged toy but it never chafes or scrapes like some more prominent textures can. The Flare is my go-to toy and that about sums up my opinion of it.
