The Toy of Multiple Uses

Whether you use it as a vibrator or a dildo, this is one toy that can be used for just about anything your sexy little mind can think of. And while extreme power isn't its game, the 7 settings of vibrations would be satisfying enough for most (and are nearly silent as well).

Use

Pipedream's Fetish Fantasy Elite 6" Vibrating Dildo, which we'll call a "vibrator" for simplicity's sake, is made with moderate proportions suitable for people who prefer toys that don't have an overwhelming size. It can be used for either vaginal or anal penetration, and is harness compatible as well. The suction cup base holds relatively tight when stuck to a smooth surface, so hands-free play is also an option with this toy, even in the shower.

If its versatility isn't enough, this toy also comes with a silicone mask for sensual partner play and sample bottles of lubricant and toy cleaner that contain enough to last for several uses.

Material / Texture

The vibrator is made of thick odorless silicone that feels firm, with very little surface pliability. The shaft is fairly flexible below the prominent bulge, but from there up to the tip it's rigid and isn't easy to bend, even when significant force is applied. The smooth matte finish surface feels soft to the touch and doesn't create much drag at all against the skin, so minimal lube is needed to use it. For many people, their own "juices" may be enough.

The mask, including the straps, is made of the same silicone, but it's very thin, flexible, and lightweight.

The controller is made entirely of glossy plastic that feels substantial in the hand, not brittle or flimsy.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of this toy seems to have been made to find the G-spot or prostate, one way or another. First is the rounded 1" wide tip, which is easy to penetrate with and curved to seek out pleasure spots with more direct stimulation. Next is a 1.5" thick elongated bulge to create firm pressure against wider areas, such as a G-spot, followed by the 1.25" straight shaft that allows you to maneuver the toy inside without any discomfort at the opening of whatever orifice you choose. A pair of vertical grooves swirl up the shaft, and may or may not be felt during use depending on how sensitive you are.

The suction cup base is molded to the toy, and there is a small indention that runs around the bottom of the shaft, in which there is a spot where the permanently-attached power cord enters. The cord is 21" long, a reasonable length for moving around with, and thicker than most that you see on sex toys. It's well attached, both to the toy and the controller, so it's unlikely that water would ever enter either one, or that the junctions would come apart easily.

There is, however, only a slide-off battery cover on the back of the controller, which doesn't make it entirely waterproof. The cover fits well enough to use the toy in the shower, but we wouldn't suggest submerging it in standing water. There is a belt clip that slides on to the bottom of the controller, which would be a plus for harness users.

The face mask is adjustable via plastic slider clips on the stretchy straps, and it fits heads up to 22" around comfortably.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The controller requires 2 AAA batteries (not included), and has two wide buttons that are conveniently located on the upper third of the contoured unit. One button is solely to turn it on and off, the other lets you cycle through 7 vibration settings by pressing it repeatedly. It's continuous, so there is no way to go back down to a previous setting without going through the whole list again.

The first 3 settings are steady vibrations, followed by a rapid pulsing, an escalating pattern, long drawn-out pulses, and then one that gives 3 short pulses with a long vroom at the end. The vibrations are neither overly buzzy nor rumbly, just a nice middle ground, and they're strongest in the area from the bulge to the tip. Three tiny LED lights indicate what level the toy is on: 1 light for low, 2 for medium, 3 for high, and all three blink in time with the patterns. The vibrations are moderate even on the highest setting, and very quiet.

Aside from working great for straight-on movements (as wild gyrations can cause it to come loose) the suction cup is flexible yet still firm enough to make a good handle during solo use.

The mask isn't designed to completely block out vision, though it is comfortable to wear. You can see shadows through it in a bright room, and the wearer can flip the bottom of it up to see... provided that there hands are free.

Care and Maintenance

Though the controller should never be submerged, you can clean the vibrator with soap and hot water or a commercial toy cleaner. It can also be wiped with a 10% bleach solution for deeper sanitizing, which is suggested particularly if you plan to use it anally or share it with multiple partners.

This toy is compatible with any water-based lubricant. Silicone-based lubricants should be avoided since they can damage silicone sex toys.

The cardboard box this toy comes in is suitable for storage if discretion isn't a must. Otherwise you'll want to find something else to put it in, since the box is emblazoned with large pictures of the toy and the words "Vibrating 6" Dildo" in large purple letters.

Experience

Alan says:
I decided to try this for prostate play and found that the bulge was almost too much to get past. But, once we managed it, it turned out to be a great toy for that. Thrusting isn't comfortable, but the bulge works to a man's advantage when you squeeze against it. Still haven't managed the legendary milking we've heard about, but I'd wager this is the kind of toy that might be able to do it with practice.

Michele says:
This is the second toy from the FFE line that we've tried (the first was the Fetish Fantasy Elite 7") and I think I like this one a little more. I have to work up to using the 7" one because of its fat head, but this one is just "grab-and-go" and still hits my G-spot without even really trying. The suction cup works a lot better too, so we've been able to enjoy a couple of makeshift "threesome" scenarios with it (use your imagination). My only complaint is that the vibes aren't strong enough for me to use it as a clit vibe too.
