There is a reason why Ella is so popular!

Ella is one sophisticated and classy dildo. She is the popular kid in school. She is the life of the party, and she loves to give people amazing orgasms. She made me fall in love with one look. Ella is grace.

Use

Oh the many uses of Ella! She has two different ends. One end has a more traditional approach. This end looks like a more conventional dildo. The other end (the end that looks like a handle) has a very nice curve and a flat head to massage that wonderful area we call a G-spot. Either end performs like a pro. There are no tricks to Ella. She was designed for vaginal use. I have used Ella during very rough sex, and not once has she hit my cervix or caused any bruising. She is the perfect length for me. She is, in my eyes, the perfect dildo for beginners. Ella can be used anywhere. The possibilities are endless!

Material / Texture

Ella is made out of rich, velvety, and just plain naughty silicone. Ella is smooth and sleek. She does have a little drag to her, which feels amazing. If you find lube is needed, please only use water based lubes with Ella. Silicone lubes can damage the silicone of your Ella. Lube makes Ella wet, wild, and ready to glide. There is no smell, taste or texture to Ella. She does have the name Lelo on each side of her, but I can't feel it when I insert her. Silicone is a very body safe material. It is nonporous, which means it can be disinfected. This material is very beginner friendly, because it is so low maintenance.
The G-spot end of this toy (the handle) is somewhat flexible. The more traditional end has almost no give to it.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

The design of Ella is pure genius. She has two different ends. As said above, one end is made for traditional penetration. The other end is made for hitting your G-spot. I will not guarantee that it will; that all depends on you and your body. The shape is ergonomic to say the least. It hit my body in all the right places. The total length of Ella is 7". Only 5" of that is insertable. The diameter, at the biggest part, measures 1 1/4". The size and shape are not threatening at all. Ella comes in white, black, and rose. I cannot say no to white silicone. I have never seen anything more sophisticated in my life. Ella is discreet to a point, and has a storage pouch for easy traveling. The G-spot end makes for an excellent handle. It fits right in my palm. I can rock against Ella, and hold onto Ella's handle with no problem.

Performance

I have not had any luck with G-spot dildos before the Ella. They were all either too big or too uncomfortable. The Ella is just right. I have had many female ejaculation moments with Ella. I would not change a thing about Ella. She is my first Lelo toy, and she made me a believer. I have used both ends for heavy thrusting, shallow thrusting, and in many different positions. Doggy style and laying down flat on my back are my favorites. Take your time to find out what works for you and your partner. Speaking of partners, I found this toy very easy to use with my husband. I was in sexual heaven. Ella is my happy ending!
    • Comfortable
    • Easy to use
    • Lots of variety in function

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is very easy to clean and take care of. Ella can be boiled for 3 minutes, or put in the top rack of the dishwasher (no soap) to be disinfected. I clean mine with warm water and antibacterial soap before and after each use. I clean it like this between the times when I disinfect it. I let my Ella air dry. After that, she goes back in the satin pouch she came with. Ella is that easy.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The packaging is exquisite. The outer sleeve is color coordinated with whatever color you ordered. There is a picture of the Ella on the back of this outer sleeve. A list of what comes in your Ella is on the back as well. When you open this sleeve, you will pull out a very sturdy and black cardboard box. When I say sturdy, I mean sturdy. My husband accidentally stepped on it. No damage was done to my Ella or the contents of my package. The lid was a little crushed in the corner, but I fixed it. Your Ella awaits inside this black box. Ella has a protective see through plastic shell on top of her. Ella sits in a plastic mold. Underneath the plastic mold, you will find the satin pouch for storing your Ella, the instruction manual, and the one year warranty. If you experience any problems after the one years expires, you are in luck! Lelo also gives you a 10 year quality guarantee for your Ella.
The instruction manual has the basics. Cleaning, storage, and tips on how to find your G-spot with Ella are included.
On a side note, you can store Ella in the original packaging if you want to. However, I find it easier to store her in the pouch. Saves me space.
Ella is small and easy to store. She still looks like a dildo, but she is more discreet than most.
    • Good for storage
    • Informative
Follow-up commentary
Unfortunately, this just stopped working for my body. I love Lelo, and I find it hard to say anything bad about their products. However, I ended up giving this to to an online friend. She ended up having the same problems I did. The end just became too pointy and uncomfortable.

I love the look of the white silicone too. I can't figure out why it stopped working for your body though. How strange!

  • ella vs. others
    • I want to get ella as my first she doesn't seem as menacing as the others made of glass or metal but are those materials better sensation wise?
    • It comes down to personal preference, really. You're not going to know if glass or metal feels better to you until you try.

A couple things to keep in mind, though: glass and metal have absolutely no give, so they tend to feel bigger than silicone toys of the same size. They're also rather heavy in most cases, and so you need to be a bit more careful when you use them. Being too rough can result in internal bruising. They're very slick and smooth, though, unlike silicone which typically has some drag to it.

The Ella is pretty rigid for a silicone toy, but it's very light and easy to use. It's great if you're new to dildos. :)

I have not tried anything like that I hear alot of good things and alot of not so good things. its up to you to try and see what you prefer..

  • How Does Lelo Ella compare to Gigi?
    • I know that Ella doesn't vibrate, but are there many other differences? I am wondering whether the Ella might be a better shape or size for g-spot stimulation
    • i'm wondering this too. i bought gigi and was disappointed but ella seems even better should I or shouldn't I?

  • Would the Ella work well for a beginner?
    • I'm thinking of getting my bestfriend this for Christmas but she is new to toys. Would this be a good toy to give a newbie? I have not tried it myself so I'm not sure how easy it is to master.
    • I have the similarly shaped Gigi and found nothing but frustration when trying to thrust with it.
    • i think it would be a good option for a beginner.

  • I need help the Ella curve is doing me in.
    • I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have read every review and some twice. I can not figure this girl out. I want to write a review but, how can I write a review on something I do not get. Any ideas would be wonderful. Please help me enjoy this beautiful toy.
    • What do you not get about it? Not every toy works for every woman. Does it hurt to use? Maybe your vagina is too small for it yet or maybe you just need some lube. Do you not feel anything? Again, nothing is for everyone. Try sqeezing the toy by doing kegels when you use it. Some women say that makes things feel better. Or maybe try tilting it up towards your g-spot. That works for me with other toys.

I haven't used it yet. Just recently purchased a white Ella. And I can't wait! We've got the same name! :D
    • If you don't get it you can still write your review from that perspective. I'm sure you wouldn't be the only one who had that experience with it. I have the Ella and she's nice but she's not fireworks for me and that's ok. We all have different experiences with toys and that is what makes these reviews so valuable.

  • Dildo vs. Vibrator
    • I am having a hard time getting used to the idea of a dildo vs. a vibrator! As far as using one goes, how does one decide which is better for oneself? Just wondering and thanks!

What I mean by this I think is, is it easier with one than the other, or maybe does it require a different mind set or even is one better with partner play vs. solo? I don't know, LOL, just curious.
    • When we started with toys it was all about clit vibes for 'effective' reliable orgasms. But as we got into g-spot and a-spot stimulation, dildos have advantages over vibes because pressure is more important than vibes.

Now we almost always have some of both going on. A dildo for internal and a clit vibe for external - although she occasionally likes two vibes.

The only truism I've found is that what she wants/needs is different almost every time. I use to think 'this worked last time - so lets do it again' - but now I think 'we did that last time - what can I do to mix things up'.

That's why we have dozens of toys - both vibes and dildos.

  • Ella for beginners
    • Hey! I was just wondering if Ella would be something an absolute beginner could use, someone who's never gone looking for her g-spot before. She seems awfully tempting, but I wonder if I it's too advanced a toy for me?

Ella is perfect for beginners. I had tried several other G-spot toys before Ella. Ella was the first one that worked for me. Several people have had their first successes with Ella.

I'm glad Ella seems like such a successful toy! I hope she works for me, too <3

  • Ella and Gigi
    • I've had both the Ella and the Gigi sitting in my shopping cart for days now. I was wondering.. should I get them both, or should I maybe just get one to try, then maybe later on get the other if I want?

They both seem so worth it, it's hard to just pick one!

I just bought the Ella and have not tried it yet, but everyone seems to love it. I have had the GiGi for a couple of months and rarely use it, mainly because the control thing is located in the worst possible spot, and I invariably hit it and make the settings change! Argh! I also had no luck with it for g-spot stimulation, and the only times I get it out it is for clit work.

Even though I wasn't crazy about GiGi, it seems to do the job for a lot of people, so it might work for you. In fact, I bought it based on all the wonderful reviews. I've come to the conclusion that there is no one toy that will do the trick for everyone. Everyone is VERY different in their tastes and what they need.
    • I agree that no toy is good for everyone. I can not get a rabbit vibe that actually works for me by stimulating my clit and vag at the same time. Perhaps its operator error.
Anyway, I love the Gigi. I solved the control issue for me anyway by wiping the lube off the control and my fingers...success. The effectiveness of the Gigi is the vibe plus the design. I don't have the Ella, which is not a vibe but I see it as similar to many of the g spot dils available.
