Use

This probe is for use vaginally or anally and can be used by both men and women. It has a nice curve to it which will allow you to reach your G-Spot or P-Spot easily, allowing for better orgasms. This probe is made of tempered glass which is non-porous and easy to clean. The tattoo on it is raised, but not able to be felt during use. Since it is glass, you can use any kind of lube with it which is great! Glass lends itself well to hot and cold, so temperature play is amazing with this toy.

Material / Texture

Tempered glass gets a 10 on the EdenFantasys safety scale. Tempered Glass or Pyrex, is less dense than regular glass. This makes it much more resistant to shattering and breaking, and if it were to break it would not shatter or splinter into tiny pieces but instead, it would snap or break in large pieces and hopefully decrease injury risks. It retains temperature extremely well and can handle any kind of lubricant without damage to the toy.

Design / Shape / Size

The hand-blown glass probe has a simulated penis head on one side, which is connected to a sleek curved shaft. At the base of the shaft (the other side of the toy) there are 4 bulbous knobs in a straight row, ranging in size from small to large. On the curved shaft there is a printed tattoo of a heart, cross and anchor all wrapped inside of a ribbon. I have found that the curved side is great for vaginal play and the bulbs make a great anal toy. However, you could use both sides in either area, please make sure to keep it clean, front to back and not the other way around. It has a nice size to it, about 7.5" long and it weighs about a half pound.

Performance

I was not able to find anything negative about this toy; it seemed to work for me, no matter what I tried to do with it. I inserted it cool and it made me shiver, warmed it up and I melted! Vaginally or anally, this toy was a winner! Even rubbing it over my body, over my nipples and down my stomach seemed to do the trick, due to the perfect weight of it.

Care and Maintenance

Glass is, in my opinion, the easiest material to take care of and keep clean. You can use soap and water and let air dry, use toy cleaners or even a 10% bleach solution. If you are one who likes to boil your toys, you can do that as well. I also hear that you can wash it in a dishwasher, however, I don't have a dishwasher, so I haven't done this. It didn't come with a storage bag, as many glass toys do, so I do suggest buying one at the same time that you get this. Currently, I keep it in my drawer with no protection. I'll have to fix that soon. Glass is compatible with all types of lubes which I love, because my favorite lubes are silicone which can't be used with silicone toys, hence me leaning more toward glass toys.

Packaging

This toy came in a folded, molded piece of plastic that snaps closed. There was no bag with it, so I suggest grabbing one of those along with this toy, just to make sure you can keep it safe. Simple packaging for a super simple toy.

Personal comments

I love that the curve in this toy can, not only be used to stimulate G-Spot and P-Spot play, but you can also use it as a leaver when the bulbous side is inserted. By taking the curve and rotating it in a circular pattern you can get some pretty intense sensations!

I still really love this glass probe. It has the perfect curve for my body and the bulbs feel, oh so, good going in and coming out of my ass. The tattoo has not chipped at all.

Pixel - No, I did not notice the design flake off, and I know in the original review they said it did with tape, but not with anything else. I just couldn't bring myself to try the tape, since it is such a pretty design. During regular use, however, the tattoo stayed in tact.

  • Glass vs. Jelly

    • I've been thinking about getting a glass dildo for awhile now, but i'm just really not sure. what advice can you offer me.
    • If you have some very firm toys already that you enjoy, then I think that you'd be good with a glass dildo. For a trial glass toy, you could get one that would also work as a massage stone or a little display sculpture. If you don't know whether you'll like texture, a double-ended one with contrasting textures (one smooth, the other ridged or something) would be good. And go slimmer rather than larger, you can usually accommodate larger soft toys than hard toys. And go easy the first time using the dildo, I remember seeing someone post about possible bruising if you're too...enthusiastic...

      Mine has not, I've had it since May and there has been no issue with the decal chipping at all. I've tried scraping it with my finger nails, but it seems pretty well melted into the glass.
    • It only comes off if you put scotch tape on it then pull the tape off. In normal use nothing has come off. I've tried chipping the decal off with my fingernail and with a nail file and nothing came off that way.

      Plus, the ingredients in the decal are body safe. I don't think there's a problem at all.
