I fell in love with the Phallix Gold Ribbed G-spot Wonder the moment I saw it. Ok, I'll admit it I'm a sucker for all that glitters, especially all that glitters with 24 Karat gold. But truly this dildo is a thing of beauty! And not just beauty but of function as well. According to Phallix their products are made from medical grade borosilicate glass. This material (essentially lead-free crystal) is completely nontoxic and will withstand extreme temperatures as well as physical shock without compromising it's structural integrity. Every piece is hand blown by an individual artist, thus creating a one of a kind masterpiece.

Ok, gold, crystal, nontoxic, masterpiece? Yeah, this piece of functional art had to be mine. And now it is.

The Gold Ribbed G-spot Wonder is a curved dildo with significantly raised nubs running up and down it's shaft with the head and base being smooth. I usually don't feel nubs or other textures on dildos or vibrators, but I can definitely feel the nubs on this and they feel very nice! This has real gold in it. Actually 24-karat gold. It looks pink and is inside the glass so it will never fade or wear off.

This dildo is approximately 8 inches long. The circumference of the shaft is 3 ½ inches and the widest point of the penis shaped head and the double balled base is 4 ¼ inches. Normally I prefer more girth but with this toy I don't need it. Something about the fact that glass is so solid and that it has substantial weight, along with the nubs, that not only satisfies but has quickly made this one of my favorite dildos.

This dildo can be used vaginally or anally, but care must be taken for anal because it doesn't have a flared base. Either end can be inserted but I preferred using the curved head. The curve and shape of the head are perfect for the g-spot. I had no trouble achieving a very satisfying g-spot orgasm quickly with it. It also feels great externally, and that's the first time I've ever said that about a dildo. But with the weight and the nubs and the fact that glass warms to the body, it creates some very nice sensations. Glass can also be cooled or warmed for temperature sensations. Just be careful not to let it get to uncomfortably hot or cold. Also any type of lube can be used, and less is more with glass.

I had read in previous reviews of Phallix not including a decent pouch for their lovely glass toys. Well I'm here to tell you, they listened. Mine came with a double lined velour lavender pouch with a drawstring. It is really nice and should help prevent their toys from damage when not in use. I hope they are now doing that with all of their glass toys.

This dildo should last a lifetime so long as care is taken. And you bet I'm going to take good care of mine!

Cleanup is easy, just wash with warm soap and water. And since it's glass, it is also sterilizable.
