I have a confession to make: I'm addicted to glass. But there are many reasons for that, I swear! Glass is almost always beautiful, fully sterilizable, and perhaps best of all, receptive to temperatures.

Phallix's Glass Wand With Hearts is no exception. The toy arrives in a long, rectangular plastic blister pack; the top half of the package includes a folded-up tease guide while the bottom half displays the toy, nestled on its carrying pouch. The tease guide includes photographs of Phallix's other products, as well as cleaning instructions and play recommendations for your glass toy. The carrying pouch is pink with some white lace for decoration and a drawstring, and although it is pretty, it's also very thin, which hinders its protective capabilities.

The toy is a translucent light pink dildo, made from 100% sterilizable Pyrex glass. The material is completely rigid, with no give, and it's very smooth to the touch. It is 4.5" in diameter, about the size of a small banana, and is 7" long. There is a round bulb about the size of a golf ball at the end, which can serve as a makeshift handle. The head is bulbous and pointed, with vertical grooves carved into the head. Several rows of raised, white hearts decorate the dildo just underneath the head.

This dildo excels at vaginal stimulation. The raised hearts are not sharp or pointy; rather, they're slightly rounded and feel like nubs, which stimulate the entrance of the vagina and the vaginal canal. They also feel great rubbed up and down your clitoris! The undecorated part of the toy is incredibly smooth and glides in and out easily with a little lubricant. The grooves on the head don't add any extra stimulation, however, and if you thrust the toy in too deep, you may hit your cervix with the tip of the toy, which can be painful. The toy weighs roughly 1 pound, which flexes your vaginal muscles and makes you feel "full."

You can also experiment with this toy's temperature-receptive properties. Microwave the toy for 10 seconds for a warm treat, or stick it in the fridge for 10+ minutes for a more chilling experience. You can also run the dildo under tap water for less drastic temperature changes.

So, are there any downsides to this toy? Well, yes. As mentioned, the carrying pouch is very thin and will not properly protect your toy, and the head of the toy can hurt if you poke yourself with it. On top of that, the grooves in the head tend to collect fluids and are difficult to clean. Hence, I recommend boiling your glass dildo or cleaning it in the top rack of your dishwasher, no soap, to keep it perfectly clean.

Beyond a few minor flaws, Phallix's Glass Wand With Hearts is a wonderful toy. It's made from body-safe materials that allow you to play with temperatures, and it looks beautiful no matter how you use it. This dildo is worth every penny!
