I was very excited as I opened the Jellyfish package. When I saw this toy on Eden, it seemed to call out to me, buy me, buy me! I finally made the decision to do just that, even though is it quite pricey. The Jellyfish marks a lot of firsts for me as I have never had a toy that was as unique and textured as this one is, and I have most certainly never had an aquatic themed dildo! This is also my first Whipspider Rubberworks toy.

When I examined the Jellyfish I was amazed at the detail and vast amounts of textures. This toy has very fine craftmanship, I could tell that right away. Exquisite detail was put into every aspect of this toy. Even the colors are quite pretty, with a slightly pearlescent look, blending a tiny bit of white with pink, blue and teal, this toy just glistens and exudes beauty. I never thought in a million years I would ever in my life want to stick a jellyfish into my private parts as badly as I do now!
Just by examining Jellyfish, I can tell this is gonna be a sweet ride!

Jellyfish is a unique dildo which is suitable for vaginal insertion. Holding on to the flared base makes it easy to thrust. Having a flared base, it is anal friendly and 0-Ring harness compatible.

The design of Jellyfish is an abstract sculpture of a penis, with an aquatic theme. The body of the jellyfish rests upon the tip like a penis head, while the tentacles snake down over the shaft, in reminiscence of the veins on a man's penis. It is both aesthetically pleasing and oddly strange, all at the same time. That is what makes this fantasy piece of art so desirable, you are drawn to and excited by it, and yet somewhat creeped out and astounded by it also. This is how great art is supposed to affect you, it takes you aback and by surprise.

I believe anyone who enjoys loads of texture in an average sized toy will throughly enjoy themselves with this unique dildo.

While Jellyfish is a fine piece of art, I think anyone who had any imagination at all would recognize that this is a sexual object. To me, it just exudes sexuality, so I would say that it isn't discreet. If, however, you have a tropical, oceanside decor, it may fit in with your knick-knacks until one day, a lady friend spots it, is drawn to it almost mysteriously and picks it up.

Another unique and very cool attribute of Jellyfish is that if left in direct light for several hours, it
will become flourescent and glow in the dark in a groovy green color.

The best thing about this toy, besides being beautiful, comfortable and textured is the bulbous head, which makes up the body of the jellyfish. The head has a prominant deep groove all around the bottom of it, where it meets the shaft distinguishing the body of the jellyfish. This feature felt exceptionally wonderful while thrusting slowly. It sent chills down my spine each time the head reached my vulva and I thrust it back upwards. At the tip of the rounded head the width is 1" in diameter. This gradually expands to the widest point of the insertable portion of the toy which is a little shy of 1 3/4" in diameter and about 1" wider in circumference than the shaft.
In my opinion, fast thrusting is a waste of time with this toy.
Long, slow, sensuous strokes feel best and are needed for one to fully experience and appreciate the many intricate textures without being overwhelmed. A leisurely pace ensures the user a comfortable, and intense ride to pleasure!
In a harder material, so much texture would be much too extreme, but in the soft silicone of this nautical cock, every bulge and ripple are a stimulating pleasure to your vaginal walls.

This textural wonder may not be for everyone, as texture is not pleasing for all, but I really enjoyed this dildo and will be using it regularly.

I only tested this dildo vaginally, as this is the only way that I will be using it, but the wide flared base is ideal for anal or harness play. The wide base is also ideal for display, as it allows this "interactive art" to stand on it's own.

Silicone is very easy to care for and clean. Simply wash with soap and water, taking care to get all debris out of the many crevices, nooks, and crannys that are predominant on Jellyfish. You can fully disinfect it by boiling for 3 minutes. It is also top rack dishwasher safe. Towel dry and then air dry to make sure those same crevices are fully dry. As silicone is bacteria resistant, this helps out quite a bit. However, as silicone is also a hair, lint and fiber magnet, it is best to wash before and after each use.

Toys that are 100% silicone may be stored together with no problems. However, if a toy that is NOT 100% silicone is stored by a 100% silicone product, it can begin to undergo a chemical reaction, damaging not only itself but its neighbors.
A toy can be labeled as silicone when it has only as much as 10% silicone in it, so make sure you are storing only quality toys together.

This is a tip I picked up from Carrie Ann on how to tell if your toy is 100% silicone:
Flame test = taking a lit match to an area of the toy. Silicone won't melt at under 600 degrees so the match will only leave a sooty mark that wipes off. If it melts, warps, drips, burns or anything other than just get sooty, it's not 100% silicone.
Note: BE VERY CAREFUL WITH FLAME TESTS! If TPR or jelly catches fire it can be very difficult to put out. Do it in a well-ventilated fireproof area, and while holding the toy over a metal bucket of water (drop the toy in the water if it catches fire)

As always, use a water based lube with silicone.
