This Rocket Ship Did Not Blast Off

Though this dildo looks kinda like a cool rocket ship, there isn't that much exciting about it. The shape didn't do much for me, and the suction cup didn't work at all.

Use

This dildo can be used vaginally or anally due to the handle which acts as a flared base. There also is a suction cup for hands free action. This toy can be used in the shower, bath, or bedroom, pretty much anywhere you want to. The size is pretty non-intimidating but isn't excessively thin, so it is fine for beginners. People who like girth to their toys may be disappointed by this one. However, the handle of this dildo doesn't seem like it would fit any harnesses comfortably because of its unusual shape and size.

Material / Texture

This material is firm but has some give. Eden lists it as being made of WTP, a specially formulated thermoplastic. It is odorless and body-safe with antibacterial properties.

It feels similar to silicone to me, just more textured. The texture isn't noticeable during use except it gives some drag. The first time I washed the toy however, it was coated in something that became slimy in water, so be sure to wash it before use. This texture could be for everyone as long as you have lube to go with it.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy looks a lot like a rocket ship to me, especially sitting upright on my shelf. Its unique and cool. I can't figure out what the change in girth before the base is really supposed to do as far as sensations are concerned, because it didn't really do much for me.

The toy is 6 inches insertable and has a circumference of 5 inches or a diameter of 1.5 inches. It is pretty modest and should suit beginners on up.

Performance

This toy is awesome for a traditional, non-realistic dildo. The handle is the stand-out feature to me. It is funny looking, but it is super easy to get a grip on, even with lube. The shape of the toy did not add much sensation for me during use as the difference in size isn't all that much.

The suction cup however, the whole reason I bought this toy, does not work at all for me. It does not stick to any surface so far. Not tiles, not the wall, not my bedpost, not my desk, you get the picture. I have tried cleaning the surface, wetting the suction cup, and just about everything I can think of, but it still just falls down no matter what. It was disappointing to me for sure.

Care and Maintenance

Sinfive includes care instructions with this toy. They suggest just using warm water and mild soap to clean it. The material that the toy is made from is touted as being antibacterial and thus, Sinfive says no disinfection is necessary. Personally, I use anti-microbial or anti-biotic soaps when cleaning my non-silicone toys. The instructions also say no hot water nor any kind of washing machine.

EdenFantasys' material listing for WTP say that this material is compatible with all lubes except oil based. The instructions do not tell me what lube to use, so I err on the side of caution and use just water based.

Personal comments

I picked this toy specifically because I needed a suction cup toy to replace my icky old jelly (I think? maybe rubber? It just smells terrible) suction cup dong. This one was classy and cute, and I wouldn't feel bad about keeping it on my shelf instead of the toy box. I guess my search for the perfect suction cup dong continues.

Experience

I was so excited to unbox this toy. I opened it, washed it, and cleaned the suction cup and surface I wanted put it on. I stick it to the surface to do something else in the mean time, and it fell off! I wiped the toy off and tried to make it stick better but yet again, it falls off. Nothing I can do will make this toy stick.

But taking the suction cup off turns this toy into a plain dildo with a great handle. Those funny looking balls at the end of the toy did come in handy after all...

I would have also appreciated it if you had actually stated the material rather than guessing at it...

    • I would think pretty much any condom would work on it. I don't own it, but looking at the measurements, it's pretty much up to your personal preference.

  • Is anyone really lusting after this?
