What a SWEET candy cane!

Well it's about time I get this review done. I ordered the Sweet Candy Cane glass dildo and then it took me awhile to even get to try it out. Illness, life, blah blah blah. Anyway, here's what I think of this toy.
I had never tried a glass toy before, but really wanted to. I have heard how great they are and was intrigued. Let me tell you that glass toys really do live up to the hype! I picked the Sweet Candy Cane because it was different. I knew for my first glass toy experience the smooth texture would be best. This one doesn't have any ribs or nubs on it. I also thought the curve of the candy cane would be interesting. Boy, oh boy, was I right!
The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was how nice it looked. It looks like it could be put out as a holiday decoration. The red stripes look to be painted on so I guess you need to take care in cleaning the toy. Keep an eye on it to be sure that the paint doesn't chip. So far, I have not had that problem. I love the fact that it comes in a little velvety drawstring bag for storage.
A good wash with warm soapy water and it was ready to use. *A note on cleaning: since this is made of Pyrex glass, it is non-porous and can be sterilized. YAY! So using the Sweet Candy Cane was N-I-C-E! The completely smooth texture was so comfortable. It will just glide in even with no lube. I was a little surprised by the cool temperature of the glass, but very pleasantly so. I tried flipping it around to use the curved part of the candy cane. It is curved perfectly to hit my g-spot. That was a very quick and satisfying orgasm.
Since it is glass, it is very hard. There is no bend or give to this toy, so only go with glass if you think you'll be ok with that. It may not be comfortable for everyone. That said, if you're looking to try out your first glass toy I would definitely recommend the Sweet Candy Cane glass dildo.

I know that you can heat them or cool them using water but what all can you do with a glass dildo?

I don't think it would be very stimulating. It kind of reminds me of the Medium Silk. Just a plain smooth dildo. I'd rather use it as a christmas ornament.

I've noticed that a lot of the SSA glass products are out of stock, as well. I think this is SSA glass, too. I don't know when they're coming in but I did hear somewhere on the forum-it was a post about the Amethyst being out of stock, that it might be another week or so.
