What a Wonder!
Overall, I would recommend this toy to someone. It doesn't have enough wrong with it to make me not want to recommend it or get rid of it. It feels amazing. If cleaning it is the price I have to pay for top notch pleasure, then so be it!Published: January 31, 2012

I think there are several things that people need to know about this toy, in which I will explain below.
1. This toy is pretty hard to clean. I read somewhere that a girl uses an old toothbrush to clean her toys, and I thought that was incredibly silly until I got the Violet Wonder. You literally need a toothbrush for this toy because the spaces between each of the bulbs are extremely hard to reach with a sponge or a cloth. If you don't do so, you'll end up with build-up which is not healthy.
2. The glass of the Violet Wonder scratches very easily. So when you do buy a toothbrush, get one that is soft or medium bristled. Also, take care that you store it in something very soft. I don't see a huge need to have a padded bag, so the pouch that comes with the toy should be good enough. It's funny though, because even with the pouch I find tiny scratches all over my Violet Wonder.
3. The small end should be used with care. It's nice for anal penetration, or shallow vaginal play. One should take care not to thrust too hard, because you may bruise the cervix depending on it's position. I, myself, bruised my cervix on accident thinking that the toy was too short to reach it. Boy, was I wrong! It left me in quite a lot of pain for about three days. Now I am much more careful.
As far as how this toy feels...wonderful. As long as you use it correctly, that is. The bulbed end is truly my favorite for vaginal stimulation, and I had my first inner-vaginal orgasm with this toy. Something about the three bulbs just feels like nothing else. It's my ultimate travel companion now!
The smaller end is best, for me, used anally. This is something you want to do with a partner, due to the odd shape of the toy. However, you can do it alone if you are in the right position. You really can't go in "too deep", because the bulbs will stop you. So I think that this glass toy is completely safe.

Experience
Overall, my experience with this toy has been moderately good. On a scale of 1-5, I would give it a 4. Only because the cleaning can be such a hassle. Otherwise, it's totally safe and feels amazing. It's made of glass, so it has one of the highest safety ratings around. It is an easy material to keep clean, as long as you take care of this with a toothbrush or some sort of soft scrubber. I did drop this several times, as I'm a clumsy person. It hasn't broken yet. On the flip side, it didn't help with the scratching factor that was already present before the falls.
I do want to mention that this feels great if you lube it up and run it up and down the side of your clitoris. I had just tried it, because I read on some website that a woman enjoyed doing this. I've now fallen in love with the act! So this toy is also great for clitoral stimulation!

I still love this beautiful glass dildo! The Violet Wonder is gorgeous, feels amazing no matter how you use it, and comes in so handy!

As stated in my review, I was sorely disappointed, as there are only 2" of twisty end, not nearly enough!!!

Not at all. I love glass! It's non-porous, easy to clean, and it can be sterilized. Plus it doesn't contain any harmful chemicals.
You do have to use a little bit of care when thrusting, because it's a rigid toy, and if you're too overenthusiastic you could manage to bruise your cervix. If you're playing alone, that's pretty unlikely, because you'll be able to feel what you're doing, though, so it's more of a concern with partners.
If you're concerned about glass breaking, remember that it's pyrex glass. If you drop it on a hard enough surface, it will break into chunks, not shards, if it breaks at all. It's nearly impossible to break while in use -- it's a solid piece of glass.
You should always inspect glass toys before use, just to make sure it doesn't have a chip or a stress fracture, just in case, but if you store them with a reasonable amount of care, it's pretty unlikely that they'll get damaged. -

Not a bad review overall but my biggest concern is your mention of using this toy for anal. I know that the bulbs may seem like enough but you'd be surprised. A toy is not safe for anal unless it has a flared base or a retrieval cord OR it is of an incredibly long length and even then, you need to be careful. Just a head's up for future reviews.
I am actually - well was an advanced reviewer, but deleted my account. I've reviewed over a hundred and fifty toys, most of them being glass. I am very careful about what I say is safe for anal, and what is not. That's why I said as long as you are comfortable with it. My bulbs are flared differently than those shown on the product page, which I should have probably mentioned. But there's no way it will move because the flare is so large.

Well what a nice review! I loved reading this and you just made me want this one even more! I've had it on my wishlist for so long and haven't gotten around to getting it I like the bulbs internally too! That's one of my favorite types of toys. So is this good for G-spotting at all? Also what a bummer about it scratching! None of my glass has gotten scratches. Makes me wonder what it is about this one. It's still incredible looking! I believe it'll be my next glass piece.
