Strap-on dildo by Fun Factory
When it came time for me to choose another toy to review for Eden, I had a hard time finding something that I wanted. I’ve got many types of dildos and vibrators – rubber, silicone, glass, plastic, etc. Have I become jaded? Naw, I just need to branch out! The Tony Comstock video that I wanted to review was out of stock, so I chose the Whirly by Fun Factory.
I requested the Whirly silicone strap-on dildo partly because it was quite a bit different from other items that I own. The vast majority of my toys are realistic, or close to it – making the Whirly a sure novelty. Its dolphin shape is designed to stimulate the G-spot and it certainly did just that! When it arrived, I must admit I was a tad disappointed at the size of the Whirly. It seemed to have more girth when I chose it. After washing it thoroughly, and applying a bit of the included sample of water-based lube, I discovered that size is definitely not an issue. The unique shape makes all the difference. It rubs quite nicely over the G-spot and the nubs of the eyes, the nose and the fins all create an extra special sensation.
The base is somewhat suction-y and is shaped in such a way that it is easy to hold whilst thrusting. The suction isn’t very strong, but enough to hold it firm while you use it to your satisfaction. I had a hard time with it in a strap-on harness because I lost control of how and where the curves hit. With my husband “driving” it didn’t hit quite the right spot and just became frustrating.
The Whirly is silicone, which means it should only be used with water-based lube. It can be sanitized with a ten-percent bleach solution, boiling for three minutes, or by running it through a soap-free cycle on the top rack of the dishwasher.
I would recommend the Whirly to anyone, including beginners. It’s not too big, but has the right curves to please even the most seasoned of masturbators. It also happens to be completely inconspicuous. If you have roommates, this is a great toy to pass off as part of the decorations.
